Saros and Returning Studio Hausemark are currently celebrating their 30th anniversary, established in 1995 when two separate studios – Blood House and Termark – included forces (and names). During his first years, House Mark released games like Lucasartis -affected alien events, as well as Transword Snowboarding. In the early 2000s, he then gave us multi -directing shooter superstards HD and zombie shoot ‘MP -DED Nation, which only two were named.
In the subsequent years, Hausemark developed his talent, and made a name for himself as a studio as a studio for himself. In the 2010s, the release of Resogan, Nax Macina, Met Fall and more was seen. All House Mark Games, and all with this famous arcade taste. They were based on skill, and were full of high -speed action focus.
In 2021, the studio then released its biggest game – BAFTA winner Returner, the third person with an infinite pathoville game player. And while this title was more than anything to come, there was no doubt that it was still a housemark game.
The studio is currently working on another AAA release in the form of Saros, which is ready for PlayStation 5 next year. Details related to Saros are slim for now, but it will be a single player game that will be based on an abusive, changing planet, which is bothered by an infamous lunar eclipse.
So, now, the game of houk is moving in the scope and direction, and once it says that it will not make the game of arcade, how is the studio still known for living this arcade spirit?

“It comes to the DNA of the studio, and because of respect and understanding our history, which makes us special,” creative director Gregory Louden told me during the studio’s 30th anniversary celebrations in Helsinki. “It is a fact that we play like an arcade game, and we do not compromise on it.”
They continue, throughout the studio, “There is an incredible passion about the idea that when someone raises a double voice, they know that this is a home mark.” “And, it’s like the best arcade sports – when you go to the cabinet, you can feel it immediately. So, this is to understand through us that this is why the house makes the mark unique. It is our voice, and for us, how can we add more elements to it.”
When it came to return, Louden says the “big new pillar” was a game statement. The creative director said that the studio wanted to add story to the Returner, before tampering with Saros – a game he still can’t talk Lot A lot – the team once again “added something else” to the Housemark formula.
“We’re just building on a rock solid foundation. So, I think arcade sensitivity, in my opinion, will always be there,” says Ludin. He added, when Saros was first revealed in February, players immediately. It was known that it was a house mark game through “camera pills” during the announcement trailer.
“This element exists, if it is not broken, don’t fix it. And, the houchers games are still some of the best sports games, so why we have no plans to do any of it? The sensitivity continues because we are so protective of it, and are passionate about it.”
Studios chief Alari Quetinin added that he believes the ‘arcade spirit’ is because Sony wanted to bring a house mark in his family of his PlayStation Studios – the housemark is doing what no one else is doing.
“(We are) a unique portion of portfolio, and hopefully expand the audience and take the sensitivity of these arcade to the public.” “I think it’s like our mission.”

Housemark was acquired by Sony in 2021, in which the team was provided “financial stability and resources”. Sony was also “very helpful,” during the development of the Return, and without it, the Hausemark could not release its game, Cotinon says. Thanks to the PlayStation Studios Family Fully Member, House Mark is now able to move its next “dream” seriously with service. “PlayStation has been supportive of our creative vision,” Louden added. “With return, they believed in this wild game.”
And what was the same for Saros, when Hausamark made it first? Lauden says he was like “yes, continued”.
“Whenever I see (the first party lead in the playstation), Herman Hillst, he says: Bring the tablets,” Louden added. “He has been a supporter of Hausamark and our identity.” The need to change the hooker is very low ‘. If anything, it’ we have bought for a reason – you are a home mark, this game should be a home game game ‘. “
Being a part of the PlayStation Studios, developers have also found something beyond these more material benefits. About four years before the acquisition of Sony’s House Marki, fellow game studios opened the door, which the team could talk and learn from it. To refer to the Loudon, it has allowed “Supercharged House Mark”, which means the studio is able to advance its vision more than ever.

Sorry, though I ask very well, the developers do not say at all, how they are moving the vision of the housemark with the service, or their initial pitch for the game was actually. But despite this confidentiality, Hausamark Leeds says the studio has used the Returning to help create its next release.
“I think when we look at the Returner, these are all things we know about we can do differently,” Hoommark’s brand director Michael Hori told me. “Not necessarily because we did the wrong choice or anything, but also ‘ok, what gives you More Of this kind of experience. “
The development team has seen the measurement as players’ stats, and bringing all their results together. “As well, we may need to give some other weapons for the next run,” Hori explained. “Get back firmly – the slogan of service speaks a lot. It is a new hero, and has the ability to return firmly. Which means to be – It certainly draws from the learning of the Return. “

Hori added trophies of PlayStation, which is often associated with owners in sports, a good way to find out how many players have completed some areas, semi -chewing Returns Nemis. Hori says, “It was a really good mid -point.” I don’t think most people thought the game was actually ending “(At that time, I tell Hori that I thought I was finishing the game, because Nimise was my semi -airs, which caused me to feel like it, and when I felt like my days).
“But, this is one of these things,” Hori said laughing. “How do you create experiments where after controlling it, you feel the level of satisfaction … which doesn’t come easily. And many people were really disappointed (with Nimise), but then about it, ‘Did they continue with it, or not?’
“And this is the story of Seline in the essence. It is firm, to overcome these things … We want to make games where you find these feelings of satisfaction, these feelings of control, and more and more people get into such emotions.”
So, the given housemark is now a complete member of the PlayStation Studios, and is available on the Returnal Sony’s subscription service, does this mean that Saros will also be released in PS Plus? This “is yet to be seen,” Hori replied. Ah ok, i tried!

As far as its next 30 years is concerned, the Hoommark just wants to continue to make a “amazing game” for the players, and continue its pace.
“We are strong like our latest game,” says Hori, Lauden added: “It’s almost like a responsibility, we are very fortunate that we should be in the position we are in, and we should keep moving forward and show what we can do and wear our game and wear our games.”
“The future of the next 30 years. It is just creating better.”
