With the Nintendo Switch 2 Directs behind us, we finally know that the console will start in June, just two months away. The switch was one of my favorite console launches, so why can’t I bother to think about his follow -up about Launch Day?
The easy answer is skull. Since pandemic illness, these abusive Alexander have become a regular problem during the hardware launches, many companies intend to cope with, but eventually fail. This is a difficult situation due to greedy people, and it is impossible for Scalers not to affect my enthusiasm for new consoles such as switch 2.
But I think there is more than that.
Considered that the console launch exceeds only hardware
For me, I just don’t want to go through all the extra problems of trying to buy something when it will become another console that besides Mario Cart World, I can play somewhere before. 79.99… Yeah, I would be nice to wait.
Consoles are expensive, the world is expensive, and when we promise to buy an upgrade for the tears of the kingdom just to play without any break, or to see Kirby in 4K, I struggle to justify the value or effort of being enthusiastic.
Well, 4k Kirby is quite charming, but not enough for the entire console. Sorry, Kirby.
The most important announcement of this was, of course, by software discs Bloods. A new game of Eldin Color Creators, which is seen by the aesthetics of Bloodbourne, which has been brought to the modern formula for Nintendo Switch 2 is an incredible point of sales. The only thing is that, they are 2026, so it really doesn’t sell me on switch 2 Now.
With the skull on the horizon, the attempt is not worth it
Outside it, there are bits and pieces-recently popular sports ports, Joey, who works like a PC mouse, and these built-in function. These are all really cool things, and I like the switch, so I’m glad to see that we are finding something that can stand on the same level like other modern platforms. But it’s just – I’m already on this platform, so when I welcome Switch 2 with open weapons, I don’t bother to have anyone yet, and I don’t think it will be expected in two months.
Who knows, maybe I will get close to June, or maybe I will see everyone revolving around the open map of the Mario Cart World and wanting to join it, but as it stands, I feel like we have a lot of new information, confirmation and some new things, but no new things. And it’s not just Nintendo. The PS5 and the Xbox Series X felt the same five years ago, which led to the fact that ‘being a better thing than you have’ was really a reason to dive.
The world may now move at a different pace for console release, and it is difficult to kill the same point of excitement. Or maybe it’s just me. I know that consoles are hardware, but they are appreciated by their sports. If the games are not ready yet, then I am not.
