Warner explained that Fortisphir was banned because the team believed that the item had “put a lot of emphasis on players using the items in steel”, and that playing these two cards together led to the “forecast, one -sided results”. He also claimed that the Lorkana team was surrounded by the idea of banning PPS, but it seemed as if the card could still play its role in the item based in Sapphire.
Finally, Warner concluded the letter, apologizing to the existing decks with restrictions, and that the players would be helped and the balance of the game would continue. The ban will undoubtedly shake things a lot, possibly transmit the meta to some extent, so we have to see what the competitive scene looks like in a week or two, after which the players are adjusted. Although this is a victory for safe haters today.
