We still have a few routes to see the next big screen predator movie, which is the victim of sequel 2022, Predator: Badlands, not landing in theaters until November 2025. Fans will not have to wait too much, however, before they see a new dynamic film, hunter: a new dynamic film with the killer, the largest hunter of the universe is led by Dusney Plus and Holo on June 6.
The film, which was made at the same time as Predator: Be Benlands, is an anthology film that three very different – but attached – human stories tell stories against hunter in different settings and time, including World War II, Edo Japan and the Viking Times. SFX recently called on Hollywood’s Walt Disney Studios with other media selected media for more information in a special screening of murderers ‘footage of murderers’ footage of murderers.
Dan Trachtonberg: When I was asked about the sequel, I would go back to a little time, and what would I do. Thankfully, in my view, there were three very good ideas. One of them, the first, about whom I was the most enthusiastic at the time was the Benlands. But then it was the other thing that was like, “Yes, the victim was really cool. We need to keep a hunter at this different period of time and tell that story.”
I think something that made the victim special, though, it was not just a hunter in a different period of time. That is, the story we were telling was made better than the hunter’s story, and I just didn’t want to throw them into a different period of time. I really wanted to know that, if we want to do such a thing again, how can it be special and how we can tell the story that can be just as bad and horrible, but also emotionally and them is based on character.
So, thinking about different periods of periods, I was honored to think that if we made a dynamic movie where we can show ourselves that we do not get to see. We now have all these hunter movies and we are doing this (hunter: badlands) that is crazy. But still, with all these things, the other side of the coin that I like in hunter movies is a hard -ranging, crazy massacre. Wouldn’t it be nice to see it? So we have this movie, the killer of the killers, exactly at the same time – stupid, but surprisingly – and it’s an anthropology movie …
What was your inspiration for the Japanese part of the movie? Have you watched Samurai movies?
I mean, I grew up seeing all those things. There was no specific movie that was a reference point for it. The three of them, a part of it, have come from (to find out), which will be a truly unique challenge for the hunter and then become (choice) that allows them to tell a cool story from time to time. The story of the Japan set is not only emotionally charged (such as the Viking Story) but also in a very unique way.
Animation looks like arc on net flaxs. Is this the same studio or just a similar art style?
Certainly a inspiration. Some people who worked on the arc has worked. The film is a whole host of studios. One part of the inspiration to make it was my relationship with the third floor, he has done a lot of work on many films that you liked, but never made any complete feature. One of the founding members, I have a great relationship with Josh Vasan, who became the co -director of the film.
Directing direct action is very different from the animation instruction. Which lesson did you take directly from the action to the animation and which one did you bring back the other way?
It’s very funny, the only dynamic work I did before was a cinema for a video game called Warfrem. I can do anything, but you are limited as direct action, as you cost a lot of sets, (and) the number of your characters is so limited. You have to lock at a certain place because they have to be final. It’s like, “I thought we would just keep making cool things?!”
The process is slightly different and then it is so front load. When you go to the beginning, you work a lot and then the delicious process ends, when you have locked the story, everything is the right thing, and then you face shots to cool and cool. Visual effects in films, sometimes it is as if it gets worse before it is improved. Animation is a kind of contrary, so it has freedom.
The fun about it was trying to do two things at the same time, which is on one side. I was actually wanted to shoot it as I would do a direct action movie, so that he felt cinema and my voice or anything. But it was too, “” We should embrace the medium and do what you can’t do otherwise. “
When I arrived at the end of this process, how did I realize how much this is for children under the age of 12? This is for everyone, but when I was 12 years old and I first saw Akira, I was like, “What F **? What did I see? I can’t believe that the movie can happen.” And its only visual nature. In a sleepover everyone will be like, “Can you believe the crazy thing we’ve seen?!”
But there are the same things that have given me to hunt. I am a lot of running through the characters who are trying to break a cycle and most of the murderers’ murderers are really dealing with breeding goods and they are all different. All chapters are in different genre. Some have more fun than others. I think Viking has some fun in it, but it is also severe.
Why did you decide to make two movies at the same time?
It was just very tantalizing. And even when we are developing, you do not know whether we are going to get a green light for it or get a green light for it. You have to make it as if it is the only (green light). Also, when I did this second dynamic project, I was doing at the same time that I was doing the boys and I realized that I could do double duty. I was remote and he was able to make goods.
It was like a hopped game. We were writing the script for the killers of the killers when we were already making goods on the Badlands, and then we were able to do more than our opinion because we were delayed to reach New Zealand to shoot Benlands. So here I was here for a huge part of the killers’ killers.
Then in New Zealand we woke up quickly on the way to the shooting. We will go away here with everyone and by looking at the star link, we will be able to stay in remote places and still get the Internet. Now we can all have cancer because we were in a van that was involved in all these satellites and things, but it is worth all.
Do you have more dynamic things in mind?
Of course I’m sure you watch cool movies and are like, “Oh, wouldn’t it be cool if…?” It doesn’t close for me, so tons of cool things. We will see if we want to make them. I think people like it!
I guess we are always trying to say that it has not happened as it seems that this is just a great thing. I think when we say that we all mean that we all mean, “We have to make it like it’s only.” You don’t want to feel as if you have changed shortly through experience and it was incomplete. These are very high for me. I won’t sleep at night if I don’t feel that I really talk to these two films with all these things.
If you picked up the trailer for the killers of the killers, a lot of matches are deducted, such as the character, okay? There is a lot about the stories about the movie characters.
It was always a feature, and never a series?
Always a feature.
So the story has a line line?
It was big “Ah!” That my co -director Josh came to me. I was like this, “It would be nice to do this luggage in different times, but I love the people with whom I cooperate in the studio and TV is a different thing.” I was like, “I want to do this with them.” And then it was, “What will happen to an anthology movie?” I was like, “Oh yes …” and here are different types of anthology movies, do you know?
Predator: The killer killers will be available on June 6 at Holo and Disney Plus in the United States. Predator: Benlands are currently ready for the November 7th release date worldwide.
