Highlights:
The Embresser Group attributed its profits to SEK 960 million (Million 89 million) during the third quarter to the Tabletop Publisher’s Spin Off.
The process was completed on February 7, 2025, and Smody is now trading a separate company in the Nice Deck Stockholm.
Coffee Stan and Friends is the last company that is liberated from the Embress Group as it is divided into three companies listed in public. The Middle Earth Enterprises and Friends-which includes developers War Horse Studios and Crystal Dynamics-will remain in the Embress group due to the time being listed.
The ongoing process resulted in a nine -month reorganization program, which saw the closure of the Wolated Games, the free radical design, and the sale of campfire cables and suede interacts and gear boxes. As a result, more than 1,400 employees were discharged.
By the end of 2024, the Embress Group recorded a net debt against SEK 3.2 billion ($ 298 million, SEK 16.1 billion / 1.5 billion at the end of 2023.
The number of game developers working in the Embresser group has increased from 9,896 to 5,757 compared to the same period last year. Total Head Count fell from 12,695 to 7,873 employees.
Back to the financial report, the “limited new release” and the comparison figures included Saber and Gearbox have seen a decrease in their PC/console segment due to “limited new release”.
The revenue from back catalog titles, including platform deals, dropped by 14 % to 1.7 billion ($ 158.7 million), which was also affected by the sale of Saber and Gearbox.
However, the Embress Group highlighted the success of the War Horse Studios Kingdom Work: Delivery 2, which began on February 4.
The action playing game reached 1 million players in 24 hours and had more than 250,000 harmony players on steam.
“It is our firm belief that the game will continue to generate revenue in the coming years, which will highlight extraordinary standards, immersion and kingdom appeal in the coming years: Salvation 2,” said CEO Lars Wingfour.

“War Horse Studios has a strong roadmap, which includes the latest information and new materials over the next 12 months, which can ensure an attractive and permanent developing experience for the community.”
As a result, the Embresser Group has a hope for the Q4 results, which not only comes the kingdom: Salvation 2, but also the release of the Floor 3 of the Trapefire interstito on March 25.
However, it noted that the release of a hyperlight breaker of the heart machine would “have a slightly negative impact on income”, which was released on January 14 in early access.
Nowhere in this report, the Embresser group reported a slight increase in mobile, which was described as a strong holiday period for DECA Games and Krazilabus.
The latter saw two new releases, including “high sales and consumer acquisitions.” The firm has said that the mobile will be “in the mood of growth” during the H1 FY2025-26, in which Krazilabus took over the rights of the publication of the frenzy-traffic jams.
“Nowadays, the focus on PC/console and mobile has increased, the focus on IP development has increased,” said Wingfers.
He added: “In search of the next three financial years, we are currently undergoing 10 AAA games, of which eight are from internal studios and two from external studios. There are no releases in this number of current quarter, or no financing by the third party.
“However, we want to make it clear that there is room for more time to provide more time if the quality and overall ROI is considered necessary to improve both, as we did with both Dad Eyland 2 and Kingdom: Salvation 2.”
