Abstract

  • The lost screenshots of the unauthorized Mario plateframers have been re -discovered.

  • These photos are from an unknown Mario Game created for Virtual Boy.

  • Nintendo immediately pulled the Verotal boy due to his trade failure, so the Mario Game was never released.

Virtual Boy was a short life console that you wore on your head, which was released by Nintendo in the mid -1990s. The console was so young that he did not even find his mario plateframers. Nevertheless, Nintendo performed one in 1995, and now the screenshots of an unknown platform, which were previously thought to have lost on time, were discovered 30 years later.

Was discovered By Rabidudent Who shared photos on Bluesky (thanks, Multi) He found screenshots in the AOL directory on the Internet archive, which means that Nintendo had put him there a long time ago. Extremely red screenshots suggest that the unmanned virtual boy game contains a combination of ordinary 2D Mario side screwing and top -down elements that were more commonly associated with Zelda Games at the time.

Since the Virtual Boy Game was never released, it has never been officially named. The Rabidudent has broken her in her position, but apparently, Nintendo called her VB Marioland when she was displayed in CES 1995. Participants were not given the opportunity to play games, nor can they see what it looks like by a virtual boy. Instead, the game was shown on a big screen and viewers had to wear glasses in an attempt to copy the 3D effects of virtual boy.

⬆ The best part of this directory is screenshots for “Mario Break”, which is the canceled Mario Game for Virtual Boy. These are very high quality and high resolution. The pixels are quite clean, someone can patiently regenerate them all in pixel art. B (b (b ( Rabidodent (@rabidrodent.bsky.social) 2025-04-12T15: 32: 17.091Z

Virtual Boy was released in Japan and North America in 1995, and until 1996, it was closed in both regions, and failed so hard that it did not reach Europe. A total of 22 virtual boyfriends were games, this limited library is one of the many reasons, causing it to flop, but Mario break, or VB Marioland, was not one of them.

Mario made it to Virtual Boy through the game called Mario Kalash and the VB version of Mario Tennis. However, the life of Virtual Boy was so far away that none of the other flagship characters in Nintendo were included. No kirby, zelda, matrod, or star fox. There was a virtual boytess game, but other topics in his library were made to show that he was able to provide an opportunity to work instead of giving his most famous characters a chance.

We are less than two months away from the launch of switch 2. Some have criticized Nintendo for making it just a better version of it to play safe, which can soon become its most successful console. For those I say, look at Virtual Boy. Sometimes it is the right thing to play safe.
