Firmware Version before 20:
Each account set a ‘primary’ console. On this console, the Games/DLC purchased by this account was usable by all accounts of this system. On ‘Secondary’ consoles, the only account that bought the game/DLC can run these games and run with online checks (every run?). If the same game was in use on a system, and if you tried to run it on another system, you were likely to get a ‘already use’ error message – however the basic system should not be online, and if that doesn’t happen, the game will be able to run on both the system simultaneously.
If you share sports with many people, 2 consoles worked well. For example, I can set the console in my account as a primary and give it to the other person, setting the console I used as their primary. Both consoles can now play all games purchased by any of us, though we have been used by both for the software we have actually purchased through online checks.
More than 2 consoles did the same thing – effectively additional systems all served as a ‘secondary’ system. Although 3+ could not share sports with 3+ people.
Firmware version after 20:
The virtual game card feature adds some flexibility of the physical game card to your digital game library. Easily share digital sports in your system!

The virtual game card system allows each account to connect to 2 consoles (switch or switch 2). Then as long as the system is online, and then played, and then the game is played, then one can be ‘filled’ on the demand for one of the games (or through the Nintendo website). All the additional accounts in these systems can play the game that belongs to the owner’s account, including loading the game on demand.
Each account can be ‘link’ on a separate set of 2 consoles. So for example, you can get 2 Linked Consoles on your account, and also use your account on 2 separate consoles that are connected to the other account – and thus you will be able to play a game on each of these systems, your 2 consoles on your ownership game, other 2 consoles on the other account. With the ‘Online License’ setting, your own buying games will also work on your extra systems.
For example, you may have a ‘family’ console with your account and your family members are all attached, and your personal system is also connected to your account. Your family may have their own personal system with their personal system. Then the Central Family Console can play any game owned by the family, regardless of who is using it.
More than 2 consoles … … if sharing in other accounts, as long as they are in your family group, you can give them ‘loans’ to sports and then they can play on any extra console beyond your 2 connected consoles. Loans work for 2 weeks, and it requires proximity to start. Lent games can be returned quickly, can be pulled back quickly, and will return after 2 weeks.
For more than 2 consoles used – you can enable the ‘Use Online License’ setting. Doing so does so that you can play your buying games on any system, just like the firmware version 20.
Is there something that I have given up?
I have heard that running the same ownership game simultaneously on multiple systems is no longer working at all. Earlier, there was a system search that was not online, that error does not work anymore?
What would you like to see ahead?
Personally, I want Nintendo to provide any option (a compensation option) to allow the additional system to ‘link’ to an account, which can effectively increase the help of more than 2 consoles.
The lending should be increased in a larger circle than your Nintendo Family Group.
It should also be possible to lend without the need for proximity when starting it.
