Welcome to Mario Cart. Before the Mario Cart World launches on June 5, I decided to hold a short play session of all Mario Cart Games. The hype that I have for this new is running me nuts, because I don’t get any other game that will be able to scratch this itching. So if you are like me, and this is your favorite Nintendo Series, I thought it would be a pleasure to go back from the beginning and look back at them all again..

So we go here, start your engine!

Super Mario Cart – 1992 (SNES)
Available on NSO, SNES Money, Emotion/FPGA
Grandpa for them all. I still have many positive memories of the game, though most of them will agree that there is no rest. I played it for about an hour last night and it’s … okay.

Positive:

  • Music and vibration Finally the famous and old memories are
  • Beatle mode and time trials are very well sustained
  • The effect of the mood 7 spinning is still great when you get into an item!

Minus

  • DePad steering feels archaeological
  • Generally not entertaining in playing gran perks
  • The type of course is weakened with the same environment that maximize use
  • 5 lap feels too long and gets old
  • AI is cheaper and they use what they use

Mario Cart 64 – 1996 (N64)
NSO Extended Pack, Available on Emulsion
This game is close to my heart and dear. I remember for the first time watching the footage of the rocks that were walking under the square mountain, and my mind was blown up. I enjoyed driving in these big courses, it seems that the code is deeply hidden in a whole Turone -style world. 30 years later, I can say it is still intact. I played it last night for about 90 90 minutes, and undoubtedly the Gran Perks is more fun than my predecessor.

The latest

Positive:

  • The graphics of the course are well intact, and Music is amazing. Taded’s turn pike is still MODEST thing Nintendo ever kept out.
  • Heavyweights like Donkey Kong can RAM to other people – and even pop balloons!
  • The Mode of War is the level of God

Minus

  • Power sliding doesn’t feel good like other sports
  • Pre -created character spirits look strange on a modern TV
  • The donkey Kong looks like a shooter

Mario Cart: Super Circuit – 2001 (GBA)
NSO Extension Pack, Available on Emulsion/FPGA
I barely remember anything from this game that this is the least favorite of the whole series. I lost my old copy and played my analog pocket, and I have to admit that I still don’t love it. I would say that I was affected by graphics. In my head it looked primarily like the SNES game, but it is very much in fact like getting Mario Cart 64 in 2D. On passing from this passing from this passing on to this passing away happiness joy joy joy joy joy joy joy joy joy

Positive:

  • Surprisingly good graphics. GBA was really a 2d animal
  • Brings some elements from MK 64, such as being able to stop an item as a defensive move
  • The ability to jump and quick races is good

Minus

  • It is difficult to go back to flat courses after Mario Cart 64
  • Something about driving is just felt – analog is lacking in control.
  • Extremely forgotten stages (Does any of them appear as retro courses?)

Mario Cart: Double Dash – 2003 (Game Cub)
Available on the original hardware, WII, Emulsion

This is a game I played in college, but for any reason I never felt the need to go back. Like many other flagship game cubes games, there are many passionate fans, many of which consider it the deepest, most complex and toughest game of the series. But, like most sunshine and wind walker, it also has a fair part of those who delete it. Overall, you can definitely say that from here the “modern Mario Cart” started, and although I can see a lot of DNA that it will become Nintendo’s largest IP, but this is still a total mixed bag for me.

Positive:

  • The GC’s Graphics Great showcase, and everything is well -versed. I was playing on Wii in a progressive scan format and it seemed great
  • Many great roles to choose. Finding double and the right speed/weight ratio is fun
  • The design of the course is outstanding
  • Power sliding in this game is very intuitive, once you get his execution.

Minus

  • My God music is terrible. Like …. what is this title screen song? I can’t get it out of my head!
  • How hard is it to unlock the very few courses, and the disturbing special cup
  • Controls are slow, and steering often feels like it’s a boat, not cart
  • The goods are disturbing and the CPU is really difficult. Even in the 50cc it is difficult.

Someone else wants to join it? Post your thoughts without hesitation and share your experience. When I play more games, I will collide the thread and update the OP.
