IPados 26 is coming to spare your pill productivity. WWDC in 2025, apple He predicted what he has called the iPad’s largest software update so far. You can eventually transform the app Windows dynamically. Meanwhile, the menu bar brings drop down for more organized controls. And all of this is wrapped in a new design of Apple’s new liquid glass. All of all, iPad users want more experience like Mac.
Like Mac, rumors about multi -tasking over halls. The new window system allows you to close or tile “shutdown, minimal, size (your) windows without interruption.” The options for regenerating like the previous version of the stage manager are not limited. You can make them any size by dragging the handle to the lower right. Or, flick all your windows to tile to the screen edges. (Long pressure shows more tiling options.) And when you reopen the app, your Windows will return to your final position.
Expos also makes its way from Apple’s desktop. It shows your open windows in the toilet array, making it easier to jump between them. And if any of these apps have long -running work (such as exports), they will continue in the background. (They will appear as directly activities.)
The menu bar arrives at the Gate Goo from MacManstay, the iPad. Like Mac, the active app includes familiar menu entries such as file, editing, visibility, window, format, arrangement and assistance. When using touch controls, you can use the menu bar by swipe from top to bottom. Or, click with your cursor when using a trackpad or mouse.
The preview app also arrives in iPados 26, which allows you to view and edit the PDF. Using Apple Pencil or Touch, you can mark your documents. It also includes autofel, let you fill the PDF form without a third party software.
The file app gets a refreshing to maintain speed with new iPad production capabilities. It has a latest list view that shows more information about your documents. This includes restoration columns and broken folders. You can also choose default apps for specific types of file. (For example, edit photos with Photoshop, Dark Room or Pixelmeter.) Dragging the folders into the dock, such as on Macos, is a new option.
The restoration of great productivity is followed by years of jokes in this direction. When it arrived 15 years ago, the iPad worked with physical keyboards, but only for typing. The trackpad support did not come after 10 years. Later, iPados 15 added a context menu for window management. And the first phase manager brought more strong multi -tasking environment. But each of them was just increasing. Power users were begging Apple for some more “pro”. The new iPados looks like a giant jump through 19 features.
Productory refreshments will not be limited to iPad Pro and Air. Entry level models and iPad mini also get them.
The iPados 26 has been wrapped in a new liquid glass design in all Apple’s new software in the WWDC 2025. You will see the Parbesi effects and round icons to meet the device corner. All this is influenced by Apple’s mixed reality headset software.
Of course, the software name scheme is new. Apple united its upcoming software with all the “26” numbers. Earlier, the version gets once every year. But since the company’s platforms were in different numbers, it could be confused. So, from now, all Apple Software will be named Incoming Year. (Although updates this fall, it will be a large -scale de facto software of 2026.) Put one for the “iPados 19” which will never happen.
There are also small updates. Ipados 26 also includes Apple’s new dedicated game app. The phone app arrives, lets you call and receive your tablet. (Earlier, they were added to the FaceTime app.) There is an audio input selector, which allows you to select different microphones for each app. And here are the new features of Apple Intelligence, including direct translations.
The first iPados 26 developer beta is now available. The public son will follow him in July. The final version of the software will be this fall, around or around September.
