Ericsholm’s Iceometric Game Play: The stolen dream may not be an adventure game style that you are accustomed to. But this beautiful title was developed by a handful of mirrors and through the battlefield that developed Ericsholm: a stolen dream to bring about life. The game is ready for release next month, but you can play it with a newly released demo right now.
Swedish Studio River & Games shared the demo for Ericsholm: stolen dreams on Steam And Epic sports shop. The game is arranged in the early 1900s in a world that is not completely like us. The city of Ericsholum has been suffering from a disease called Heart Pix, and a young boy named Herman has disappeared in unpleasant conditions.
Herman’s brother, Hina is the lead role of the game, but with the development of the story, it will also include two extra roles, Alva and Sebastian. Each of the three important children has different abilities that can lead to obstacles or troubles in the past. But the stakes of their struggle are much more than their feeling, and their secrets “can incite the chain of destructive events that will change their lives and the destiny of the whole city forever.”
As noted GamesraderThe development team behind Ericsholm is only 16 people. Creative Director Anders Hajidenberg recognized the hereditary difficulty of incorporating a fully prepared game with very few people, “before we do not do the job because they are easy, but because we think they will be easy.”
Ericsholm: Stolen dreams July 15 Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and PC will be released.
