Although Stamus 3.0 has been launching for some time, which has been launching with OG Steam Deck in 2022, we have not yet been properly examined by non -deck handheld using Linux -based operating system. However, the stamus version of Lenovo Lashkar GS should come this May, and it seems that the valve is laying the roots of support grass in its stamus 3.7.0 preview: PID update.
Release notes Confirm that this special update, which is only available in the preview channel, is the ship with “Non -Steme Deck Handheld Start Support”. Lenovo Legion Go S is the only one we are currently aware of, though it will realize that more is likely to be followed in the next few years.
The second big upgrade is to add Plasma 6.2.5. In the deck’s desktop mode, this refreshing with yourself brings with you an upgraded interface, an asyniary floating panel, a systematic setting menu, and the “famous” cubic effect, which can rotate more than one desktops as you are in the hacker film since the end of the 90s.
It is noteworthy that, as a preview update, you will face a strange problem. I installed it on my personal steam deck and ran into the strange bug, such as the shining desktop as a result of pressing the power button and sometimes unexpectedly.
You get to play a new wallpaper, though it is called a red tree:
Beautiful, eye? In addition to the additional handheld support and upgraded desktop interface, the valve has also announced many improvements in Bluetooth devices, improving some compatibility for the display when using the deck dock, and “in cases where the system’s updates may fail to implement the files if some sets are bad or bad.”
So, perhaps the latest updates for deck owners are not most interesting, but for those of you who would like to see that the valve handheld OS comes more than just the deck and the army, the future looks less.
Someone needs surprise, however, can all of them come too short, too late. Most non -stamus has supported the handheld gaming PC that now ships with the game launcher interface that do not connect directly with steam, do an excellent task to launch and classify your sports within Windows 11. Or you can only launch the Big Picture Mode from inside the steam, though you have to hunt on a small screen.
Nothing is just as smart or as easy as the valve is trying, and in front of the operating system makes the game smooth game experience on the game. So when stamus seems to be taking time to reach other models, I still welcome it. At least never, better late.
