After suffering from horrific PC ports for the past few months – many of which have no right to consider their visuals. Are just a handful of titles that have surprised me with incredible environment and spectacle: CD Project Red Cyberpank 2077 Immediately comes to mind (at least, after the launch patch).
This time, it’s of Ubisft The killer’s profession shadow – and when I tell you that it’s a I’ve ever played on PCI’m not bluffing. It does not need to score points by Ubisoft, with all the conflicts around the title, no head. This is giving credit where credit is owed, and Shadow Works completely with his visuals.
Although this is certainly not perfect: the upper -off line NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 4K can struggle to advance the frame rate ahead of 60FPs on the maximum settings, but compared to what we’ve seen with the recent PC ports, it is not bad anywhere. Based on the current consensus, it seems like the performance issues can be the result of forced RTGI (Ray Global Illumination) for the ‘Hyde Out’ area of the game.
Basically, this means that you cannot fully disable the ray tracing, which I suspect is the main factor behind the nature of the game’s high hardware. However, my experience with it was completely different using the Asus TUF Nvidia RTX 4080 Super OC edition – and now I am desperate to sink back into it.
Recent -day normal strike is absent in the shadow, and I can’t be more happy
My Allen Wear AW3423DWF QD -led Ultra Wide Monitor, using the game The killer’s profession shadow On the ‘Ultra High’ graphics preset with local AA and DLSS frame generation (as shown above), I arranged an average of 74FPs – and fortunately, the benchmark tool of this game has a turmoil counter that returned to zero on all my benchmarks.
Again, Shadow There is a beautiful game to see, but when the RTGI gets fully on (not only in the hideout) and it comes with a huge performance cost. Although unlike other PC ports, the frame time was completely flat – so even when the frame rate would fall to at least 60fps on my setup, it felt like a smooth experience.
It is also worth noting that recent NVIDIA drivers are causing problems with performance and causing black screens. A shadowBut I’m sticking to the driver with 572.47 unless everyone is stable. I am not sure if other performance reports (especially on low -end cards) are the result of driver problems or if the real -time RTGI is responsible, but I am glad to say that in any way, it is still a smooth game experience that has no major stathers.
I have seen the same with the same Indiana Jones: Great Circle In this case, reducing the resolution in fact gave me a slightly poor performance, which makes me understand because the GPU was no longer under heavy burden and the obstacle of the CPU is clear. It’s also another title that doesn’t allow you to fully disable ray tracing, so I wonder what’s in the same case Shadow.
Fortunately, the DLSS Frame Generation works very well with this game. Although some ghosting still exists (it is likely I’m not using DLSS 4 overs), this is not worth noting unless you are Really Trying to look for it and there is no major input interval. This is another matter where upsclaws and AI are being used to polish the performance of the game after reality, I know – but when you are trying to run ray tracing on maximum settings 4K in any modern triple -aa game, it often requires – especially with it. ShadowWhere upscings are practically essential.
Hassan’s profession shadow ‘RTG IVEZOILS Performance Enables It
I should describe it again The killer’s profession shadow It is a great game in terms of visuals, and it’s really one of the titles you need to see yourself to believe in it. Images will not do it any justice and the OLED screen only enhances the experience.
Games that fail to impress their graphics (like The rise of Ronin) Still launch with poor performance on the PC, mostly with a horrible frame -time graph: I’m calling it a Statter Fest. I say that because you want Shadow Some adjustments are needed to bring its performance to high quality, it has every right to demand every right because this spectacle is worth it and overtakes other PC ports while doing so.
It is clear why Yubisoft decided to leave the last gene’s consoles behind ShadowAs I can guarantee that they are not able to handle it. This and like games Cyberpank 2077 They are a few topics that I can see as a real generation jump for visual loyalty, and I can’t wait to continue – hopefully with acceptable performance results for everyone.
