As long as Haasan’s profession is present, fans have imagined the fiction of Ubesft that he had taken his stealth action series to Japan. Below the sheer weight of expectation, players spent almost two decades thinking how the setting can be (or more dangerous, Should) The work, the shadow of the Hassan profession will be well in favor of falling under pressure.
Instead, the Ubesoft shoulders have seen the burden with more confidence, structure and purpose, since Hassan’s profession has enrolled in the RPG area. Here is the ambition-as well as the need for its feeling-and although the shadows of the killer’s profession may still feel very familiar, but this proves to be more than worth waiting.

At the end of the 1500s, Hassan’s shadows follow two main characters – Samurai Yasuk and Shinobi Nau – a group of anonymous power brokers who try to control Japan, form a team to eliminate Shanbakovo. Most of the story revolves around exposing and killing these goals, and is largely non -linear. You can choose to investigate a target before-although lack of level measurement means that it is easy to start from lower level areas and work there-and likewise decide whether to play as Yasuka and Nao, which you can stop and switch to custom.
From a mechanical point of view, the dual -main character system is extraordinarily hanged. Both characters have a lot of different powers and weaknesses, which are rapidly important to keeping the game more difficult. It is a powerhouse in the fighting of Yasu, which is capable of taking the whole garrison, but it is difficult to look at Samurai on a short fence. The opposite is the opposite – it is far more fragile, but it is better in stealth and Parkor.
These differences are particularly full of dynamic. Make, where you switch between the two main characters, on the basis of which every mission is demanded. In the shadow of Hassan’s profession, my time was equally divided between the two-I will play the newborn to remove the smart killings in the heavy guards, which will be difficult to fight the head, then tag for works in Yasuka where there was a possibility of open fighting. By distributing the skills of the players into two separate roles, the secret roots of the Ubisoft series and the RPG -style battle are able to bow together with confidence, which later came without sacrifice.
The fighter itself is the best who has been in the profession. Fighting as Yasuka, whether he is trading with a long kita or riding his arms with Naginata, is serious. Nine’s Kosrigama (mainly a palm and a chain on a chain) enables the crowd to be tainted by almost almost soldiers, keeping the crowd in the bay. Either one can be a bit-you will collectly clip the middle wall between the wall or the enemy attacks during a fight-but parking as a naoe is much more fluid, a part of it is its measuring buildings and otherwise helpless walls.
Individual defects of Yasu and Nau are as important as their strength. Because no one can do anything, there is a level of reaction and appearance in which all the views of Hassan’s profession are severely reduced. Some of my memorable moments have come to stealthily and have to fight itching with the merchant, which is why I planned to hide from the lizard, or stealthily as Yasuka (here is a theme) because the head of the Samaritan is at a mile.
However, it collides with a free nature story. Yasuka and Nao’s personal story lines are largely stendon, as is the investigation of every Shanbakovo member, which means you are bouncing between more than 10 smaller stories rather than sticking to a compatible story. Excels are moments: Yasoka’s revenge is more deliciously spaghetti, and when he is with, the main characters have wonderful chemistry. Even the game score for Japanese folk and rock tracks creates a handful of important scenes, stylish personality we have never seen from the series before.
But for the majority of its 30-40 hours of run-time, the plot snatches the water and, by the end, fails to collect its loose threads in a satisfying way. An open end does not feel earnings, and instead of drawing a meaningful conclusion for any main character, you have been left with a hidden suspicion that you have not yet been shadowed with your wallet.
Similarly, the stories of Yasu and Nao never come together. This is a real shame, because their moments are together-even if they are in a cloud-seeing conversation, for the sake of night, or falking in Baby Tawakas, make the best shadows. The same can be said for pursuing romance (each character gets his own strikers) and to complete the personal questions of the allies – hiding from the fortresses and the knife of salmon is the serious meat of the shadow, but these are the human elements that mean it.
Even the Ubesoft signing of the Open World Rental is more purpose than ever. Hassan’s belief in Hasan’s hydro out system returns here, though it is close to the scope of crossing the feudal animals compared to the construction of a relatively passive village of Revenuephap. You have been given a free-sized plot of free Raj and land: buildings can be kept wherever you want, and a mixture of practical facilities can be added-such as a forge to upgrade gear, or a dujo that is a Dojo for training that is called to help with a decorative option. You can also keep any animal in the broader world (or stop painting), which – if you are anything like me – this results more than the killers residing.
Although all the hideouts and decoration are expensive, the need for less deserving hands is needed building material sourcing. These temporary bandits from cleaning crops bundles in camps, from the optional contracts to the guards from the fortresses to the wooden yellowish. Similar resources are also used to upgrade your weapons, which in turn is essential to deal with high -level missions and castles. The killing of the Samara Dishu leaders of these fortresses (and returning their store houses) is because of great greatness.
In a big picture, Shadow’s optional engagement has a good level of cohesion. For each main character, the expertly trees are slowly opened by gaining knowledge, which is collected by completing the scattered mines and side activities through Japan – from completing the archery courses behind the horses, to practice martial arts and visit shrines. Knowledge is a wonderful confusion to engage with the world at a live level. In this regard, the past RPG has not managed to a great extent before – but a limited amount of activities means that they can feel a bit repeatedly and Corillic after a while.
Wide
Nevertheless, the world of Hasan’s profession is the most vibrant. Most of the struggle goals are actively unclear, and instead of a exact location you have been given indicators – a bit more helpful than others – which causes them to cause a general area. From there, you can choose to send scouts from secret out to tighten your search, or find yourself.
This is a surprisingly surprisingly bold splash of friction for Ubisoft, which is forced to interact with the shadows instead of just sliping from the next one to the next. During one such search, I was busy near a village by Posh Shiba Anu, while his disturbing owner called him on several streets. Did he help investigate, or start the side struggle? No and no-but after 30 hours, I am still thinking about the era of the village and the terror of Sheb.
Japan is also the best setting for photo mode devotees. Due to the mountainous terrain of the country, the detection of off -road is difficult (the game recommends you to travel by road), but it gives some amazing views. When you are walking, the weather changes, that is, a red umbrella passing through you in the fall can be broken into the winter.
These seasons also have practical goals – the scouts are filled with their changes, the provinces where you should be wanted by the authorities will forget about you, and freeze the titles in the cold, for example – but they are just a beautiful set dressing of Japan, like Japan.
The weather indicates a very broad statement – the shadows of the killer’s belief want to do all this. It wants to be a fantasy as Samurai is fantasy. Cherry flowers And The snow here is being examined by the Ubesoft formula, in recent years there is a long way towards the texture that has given the RPG a new shape, but the Studio’s Maurish Open World Formula is still there. Not every idea is clearly united, and the two extraordinary main characters make sense of being wasted on a poor story, but this is a titan in the same leagues as series Stepus Haasan’s credit 2 and Hassan’s belief 4: Black Flag – and Ubisoft’s best RPG to date.
