Mostly, the TN looks like a panel as the days pass. The ultimate speed and price trade for minor color accuracy and poor viewing angles, it asks you, “Do I really need so much speed?” According to ASUS, this answer is yes, as it has just unveiled a high -speed 610 Hz refresh rate monitor.
With justice, professional gamers will always be accelerated on beautiful visuals any day, so it is likely that they will be happy with what they are. In Taiwan, Taiwan, the computer is shown on the ground floor of 2025, the new disease of Asus is the STRAX ACE XG248QsG 24.1 -inch FHD monitor, with the aforementioned 610 Hz Refresh Rate (while in OC mode) and 0.1 MS response time. It also offers a lower input interval for 0.8 mm.
It does all that is called the Asus ‘Super TN’ panel. An evolution of TN technology. If you do not know what TN or twisted pneumatic monitor (I will not accuse you), it is a type of monitor that is now mostly used by professional concerts because they offer high -speed refreshing rates and reaction times, and before it only provides the trash monitor.
The view angle of the TN panels is usually worse than their rivals, and the color accuracy is also removed. ASUS claims that Super TN looks better than a traditional TN panel, which removes the difference between its, IPS, VA and OLED.
Our own Jacob, which is on the computer show floor and he personally saw the monitor, told me, “The answer was decent from the UFO test, but as far as I can tell, there was something clear in white colors.”
It is worth noting that this is a short test, and it was only available for a few minutes, so this is not a definite decision on the panel. However, he says that the TN panels have emerged to a great extent in recent times, and although it has yellow color, Jacob says the image quality so far seems fine.
The quality of the picture is not that people buy TN monitor, though, and it comes with LMB2 (very low motion blur), which helps reduce motion blur for more clean view, and this panel is allegedly brighter than the previous TN Monitor. Along with all this, it has been increased along with ROG’s AI technology with visual promotion, enhancing dynamic shadows, and promoting dynamic cross deer.
The purpose of all this is to make it very easy to understand the monitor for professional -level concerts, which needs to be made and understood in a very short time. The difference between a particle effect or grenade and the head -exit heads can be the difference between winning and loss.
Competex 2025
Catch up with Competex 2025: We are watching the halls of Taiwan’s biggest tech show once again to see what NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and more.
Putting my cards on the table, I am not, in fact, a professional concert, so this panel will probably never see its ability that is running Sims 4 or Aldin ring on an unused FPS on the vein of my home. However, it certainly has some very impressive statistics.
To put it in context, MSI has just announced its OLED 500 Hz Monitor, and Samsung has done the same, though both will cost a lot of money. Asos has not paid the price that we can still get for its 610 Hz panels, but it is unlikely to have a budget option.
We expect the board to gradually increase refresh rates over the next few years, though the acquisition of more than 500 Hz will still be slightly less, as graphics hardware will be able to do so regularly.
