I was finally happy to see a bulk tank band riding the wagon. Given the margin of inflammatory profits from the inkjet cartridges, its hesitation is understandable, but the brothers are expecting the launch of the compact and competitive -priced super -tinker.
Brother DCP-T580DW is a more affordable model in a new refill range aimed at home office or micro business. It is a primary color A4 with key features such as auto -duplex printing, high -reserish scanning and Wi -Fi that contains air print. There is no automatic documentation feed (ADF), a rearpaper tray or color display, which is a bit more expensive brother for DCP-T780dw, which also performs well in the test.

Brother DCP-T580DW is really a second-generation tank printer, after the weird-looking brother DCP-T525W, which was sold exclusively by Amazon. The printed Quick Start Guide is very clear, and you may not need it. Just load your paper, plug and turn on. On -screen prompts will tell you when to enter the date and time and fill in the ink deposits. My recommendation is to download an app with a smart connect, which will help you connect your printer to your Wi -Fi network.
This iOS/Android app is also great for printing and checking your printer. With such a small black and white display on the printer, your smartphone offers a much better user interface.
Putting ink in the tanks is a clean and easy process, or at least it should be. Bottles are the same capacity as tanks and their necks only fit into their respective tanks, so you can’t do any destructive mix. I didn’t miss a drop, even I just made the mistake of crossing the tanks and replacing half the empty bottles in the box. What a mess!
Unlike the bottles of Epson, HP and Canon, the brother’s bottles do not seal, even when you think you have pulled the lid firmly. Being fair with this printer, it told me to ‘fill’ the tanks, so I would not mark it for human error.
Brother DCP-T580dw: Performance
For me, brother DCP-T580DW worked well, started immediately and promised soon. It makes a slightly disturbing winning noise when printing, so it is less quiet than most conduites, but there is no example of jam, crews or smiles during the test. The ADF managed to pull multi -page documents and copy them without any problem, and the copies were quite loyal.
The print quality is acceptable, but somewhat disappointing at this price. Starting with black text documents on plain paper, it is clear that the brother is using color -based black ink, which is fine, but the character looks slightly less bold than a black. With office -based printers you often find Die -based C/M/Wi and a pigment B because the text looks faster and is more scratch and matte resistant, but I will not expect it at this budget level.

It is a pity that the print performance for this price category is lower than the average, which has slow -colored blacks and images that lack good detail. For most purposes, this is probably good enough, but the brother DCP-T580dw is difficult to recommend, when a slightly more expensive brother DCP-T780dW offers all the lost features, more ink and much better print quality.
