In the amazing turning point of events, Death Day Day 3 is formally moving.
“The third movie is moving forward,” Star Jessica Roth announced last night during the double feature screening of Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2U, in which director Christopher Lindon participated in her (h/t Bloodsgesting,
“It’s moving,” Landen added.
Death Day Happy Day, who first targeted cinema houses in 2017, was followed by a college student who was forced to revive his death again and again until he knew who killed him (and said the killer wore a terrible child mask). The film was critical and commercially successful, and she gave birth to a sequel, Happy Death Day 2U, which was released in 2019 and once again financially successful (though critics were not too crazy about the story). A third film was now snatched six years ago, but Landen told SFX that it was not just in the cards, saying that if the studio wants to move forward with a third movie, it is completely at Bloom House. Even in the length of a suitable feature length, a series of three parts was considered in exchange for the release of the theater. However, it seems that the third installment is eventually green – and fans of the American teenager horror film can eventually be happy.
