Immediately after his team’s eligibility for Austin Major Play Office, Jonathan “Eliji ” Jablonuski talked to HLTV about the victory over the Mongols, playing with S1 Maple after almost a decade, and what his feelings about having a chance to play in front of a household in Texas.

Congratulations, you’re passing through the play office. Returning to ancient against the Mongols and then S1mple domination over the Inboes. How are you feeling after the passage?
Very happy, really comforted. I am glad we were able to return to ancient. We know how strong we can be on this map on both sides, and then we just demonstrated honesty over the Innobis. 10-2 half on the CT side, everyone was just playing very well.

You played ancient against Moz, and earlier against Aurora. Struggled a little, especially on the Innobis, how do you feel that you have adjusted the game so that it doesn’t.
Against Aurora, I think our macro was great. We were in many beneficial situations, it was just a bit cool, in many of these situations the best team was not playing.
This is a map on which we really feel confident and we showed that today, we chose it against the Mongols, when it was a sided map, it seemed great towards CT, and overall we are just showing our best face. We are really looking good and equalizing each stage and each match.
Talk to me about this ancient return, you were below 1-7, then 7-11. How did you turn it up?
There is an ancient map that can go in both ways. Even we were even here, even before the Major started, we have practiced them, and we have exercises that have gone like a very strict struggle towards the CT, and then we only have a very strong property on the T -side.
It was in our heads, where we know that we can do it, we know we can return. We have done this work many times, we have done this against the ancients tomorrow, so we are just confident that whatever the aspect we can, we can win it because it is not a map that is in some way prevail. As long as we are playing well, a great game of art (Carigan) says, we can defeat anyone.

I’m sure you have talked a lot about it in other interviews, but just tell me to play with S1 Maple and what it is for you, especially after such a game.
Super Fun I like to play with Sasha (S1mple). We have a really good chemistry and we really play with each other. Whenever I say, ‘I’m going to do it and it,’ He likes, ‘Well, I will praise you’ doing whatever is.

He is also very vocal, he himself is calling many plays. I heard the end that the Carigan wanted to say something (during the freezing time) and he had to stop, it was, ‘Let me talk’, and S1 Maple was calling something else. (Elage smile). Talk to me about how much she is on the server and how it has helped.
Yes, he is a very sincere player, and I think it should always be strange. They always need to impose their will on the game, show what they want to do, how they want to pick up, how they want to affect the game. This is the strongest weapon of the game for a reason, and you want the player to do what he can do.
On the T -Side, the most important thing is that they (Mongols) have really bad money, they are still on the juice op, we just have to make sure we close them with what we want to do because the CT side is so difficult on this map. You can’t really catch anything very well, so whenever you are feeling that you are weak on one side, you just have to find time. And when you have bad money, it really seems that it’s not really much that you can do.
You’ve now played a lot of matches with her, and really seems to be starting to warm in it. Ever since he came back, how did you see him better?
Ever since I have been saying in many interviews since Dallas, he has been planning every day. I see it practically, he’s hitting more shots. In terms of macro, he always indicates what he wants to do and where he thinks he can get a choice, and he is being built only in every game with that trust.
I think the way we are playing with each other is giving more confidence to be able to make it goods, because obviously if he wants to play and we do not meet it well, it will be difficult for him. So in the games where we are struggling, it shows a little more. But he’s playing incredible, I think we have a really good shot in this major, and we’re going to watch some entertainment games in the playoffs.

Really … I think relief is the best word for it, because this year has been really difficult for me, really difficult. We were having difficulty trying to work it so that we could go to the play office and win and everything like this. Now everything feels much better.
When the move took place, Carigan called it “Helle Mary”. Now what do you feel about this term, in the sense of how you have performed so far?
It was definitely correct (smiles). It could have been really bad, Sasha Super was not playing well, but as she returned to the game, as you could feel it, how much he was hungry, how well she’s playing in macro. Mechanical parts, you always come from … especially S1mple, as if he is the best player in the history of the anti -strike, and he really returned quickly. I am glad that he certainly did his upside down.
Play Office is going to be very sick, I think the crowd is making a lot of joy for us
This is your first big play -off since Paris 2023, obviously you have been the only American player. What does it mean to be able to make and play in front of a crowd of home?
It certainly makes it very special. I was thinking that I was not in the playoff in a while, and I am making it on domestic soil in the United States … I know the playoffs are going to be very sick, I think the crowd is celebrating very hard for us.
The team’s brightness is incredible, everyone is going crazy. This Major has had a lot of fun so far (smiles), everyone is just screaming at each other, back and forth. We will have less on the stage because we can’t hear each other, but it really brings energy. Everyone has energy in all matches, it’s really fun, and I’m really excited about it.
