Falcons won their first in Austin, and ended OG from Major
After 2-1 victory against the OG, Falcon has moved to 1-2 pool in Austin Major Stage 2. The IEM Dallas and the runner -up of the blast rivals had to return from the map to avoid this tough test, in the first series of all three alignment series to win them in the next stage.
It was an ugly victory that was very close to the Falcons, who lost all six rounds of the pistol and closed late, after getting a 9-3 lead.
Eliyyyyyyyyyyyyyy “M0nesy” Osipov, who was called one day in question, cut a frustrated personality on the first map, but greatly improved himself on nuclear and marriage.
“One win is a win,” M0 Nisi said after the match. “It doesn’t matter how we won. Most importantly, we won.
“I just wanted to fight for victory (after Map One). You just want to win. You don’t want to go back home.”
At the beginning of dust 2, things look forward to Falcon. He set this pace in the first half and restricted his opponents to three rounds, headed by Emil. “MagagIC” Reef and nicola “Niko” Kova, who mixed for 24 pieces.
In the second half, the former Danish soldier remained a threat, even when the game turned away from his team. OG tapped the game and ease with the Falcons defense with Nico “Nicoudoz” Tamjidi led the charge with a surprising 1.99 rating in the offense.
After an amazing exhibition on Dust 2, the M0 Nesse showed some signs of life on the nucleus. He fought 12 deaths when the Falcons ended the half before starting 0-3 with a strong defense performance.
Just as on Dust 2, the Falcons lost their grip on the game after the halt time. The OG gradually snatched the loss and managed to equalize the score twice. But after a tough, back period, the Falcons took control of the operation and closed the map.
Falcons took their pace in surgery and was always under control in the pistol round, ending with an 8-4 score line. The OG still tried to respond and won the pistol round – while maintaining his perfect pistol record in the series – but his hopes for his return were lifted because he failed to conversion, Falcon rode to eliminate the wave.
“This game was very important for confidence,” said M0 Nisi. “We’ll see tomorrow.”
F1KU after the loss: “We’re very disappointed”
After the match, the micage “F1ku” McLes regrets that his team is going out of 0-3 as he feels he wasting “good opportunities” to win some under his belt.
“Everyone is sad,” he said. “We are very disappointed with how the Stage 2 has gone. We had some good opportunities, for example to end the game against the M80. This didn’t happen. We might want to win a lot.
“The experience we received here was very important. It was the first Major for our three players. It is really good that we had to experience it.”
