Jason Charles Miller may have spent years to become a big name in the rock and alternate scene, but recent years have seen himself setting himself as a sound behind the most powerful and emotional songs of the final 14th.
It has raised the Warriors of light through its first steps in Shadow Burns, their last moments are at a closer distance in the Walker, and recently the war against the Holding Blade has been voiced in the latest raid series with Inilesh.
But for me, Miller’s personal favorite contribution is indeed for the edge. This is the song that plays during the last boss war of Shadow Berngers’ pitch 5.3-which is the most respected patch in the history of the entire game.
I had the opportunity to sit down with Miller and talk about his career in music – not only for the final fiction 14, but also other games such as Metal Gear Rising: his music beyond the video games as well as his music – and his direct performance for musician Masashi Sukin’s bandage with MMO’s Permoes.
When asked what track to perform, Miller could not help you to sing to the song before reaching the end. He told me, “When he was in the hospital, Sokin wrote a lot of it.” “And that’s why I think about it sometimes when I am performing this, and then I look at it and I am very grateful that she’s still with us.
“So this is a fun thing to see and see it, and knowing what is happening to him when he was writing it. How can it happen … You know, it’s such an emotional and heartfelt time. But the song, you don’t know how to play this song, because it is so high energy.”
As someone who can see Miller performing with Edge Live (and even hears my countless game version on Spatifs) that the feeling of emotion through an epic boss theme is indeed something that keeps me back at the time and time of the song. This gives more meaning to knowing the situations in which Sukin wrote – especially with the theme of the song that is the center of death and the last day.
As far as we are listening to Miller once again in the future, he laughed: “You know I can’t answer it!” I had to ask at least, yes?
