Welcome to 2025 editions of Game Bullets!
It is a continuation of a long -running annual thread, known as Backlag Bullets. I have decided to prepare it in a slightly different way because I know that many people are against the term “backlog”. No, it’s not about turning your gaming into a job! It is about to detect and enjoy the library you already have, and maybe you have already paid instead of chasing a shiny new thing by playing a little money by playing this game. 😉
How does it work?
This is a challenge with a very simple principles!
- Whenever you beat a game, you get a point.
- Every time you get a new game, you lose a point.
- Try to end the year with a positive score!
Participants post their progress in this thread (usually once a month), and everyone can encourage each other and encourage others to progress. Post the game’s comments if you think so. And don’t worry if you fall into the negatives, it is often and there is no shame here. No one will decide you. 🙂
It depends on how you want to count DLC, or episodic games, or sports for free. If you want to count something as a +1 point when you beat it, then when you add it to your library, you need to give -1 points.

It is also very useful to see the last (as its name), too, how long it takes to beat a game. Or, of course, you can only use a good old spreadsheet, or even a notepad.

Q: How, when and where do we post our updates?
A: Most people make a made post every month with updates related to their progress. But to keep the thread dynamic, post freely for some casual updates here and there if you want to talk about buying a lot of games on sale or if you are in a built -in built -in!
Q: How do we count free sports like subscription services like PS+ and Game Pass?
A: It depends on you. Some people plan to play every game one day -1, others only count the games they actually start playing, and once again others are ignored completely free sports in the score (so they are neither -1 nor +1). Just be permanent!
Q: What about DLC and extension? Or combinations and episodic games?
A: Likewise, that is as you want. Count DLC as separate -1/+1? Of course count it as part of the main game? It also works. Episodes or sports from a combination can be counted as just one for the whole thing, or separately, as you prefer. Just remember that if you want it to be counted for completion, then it should be counted as an additional!
Q: Can we count endless and multi -player games in terms of defeat?
A: Yes! You can count them as soon as you “feel” with the game. It can be a personal purpose, such as reaching a particular position, eliminating self -made challenge, or playing a certain amount of time. Or just when you feel like you have got your money. Whatever feels right for you, and of course it does not mean that you have to stop playing the game later.
Q: What do you think about buying or reorganizing a game?
A: Like everything, like it, even if you like. Some people just count “new” sports, some count everything they play. Staying permanent is always the only obstacle.
Q: If we decide that we don’t want to end a game, what will happen?
A: That’s all right, and it is also in accordance with you how you want to count it! Some people only count the defeated sports, while others count on the “back blog” (sorry, that is the word!) As one or the other way +1. In any way!
Q: Do we start with 0 points and count just what happens in 2024, or do we start with the current number of current games in our library?
A: Almost Everyone chooses to go for a “clean slate” and counts only anything in the current year. Did you go to a bay on December 31? It doesn’t matter! If you already have a large library, it can definitely help encourage. But if you prefer, you can start with your library score, so for example, if you have 300 games played and clean 10 of them, your bullets score will be -290. If your goal is to reach this prevailing 0, it can be fun! Whatever preference you prefer is with whom you should go!
