“In such an international event, this is the first time we won the first match,” Yafi “ gum” Dai told HLTV after defeating Austin Major a day after defeating Lin Vision.

The Chinese coach was happy to perform according to his abilities, making the team’s performance proud to make it easier to win 13-7.

He supported a boot camp in the United States for a win, and when it comes to competition in Stage 1, the world number 30 looked as a “better team”.

So far, so good, with everyone’s eyes on trying to secure more and more locations for the Asian region in the next Major.

You’ve just gone to 1-0, how did it feel from the back of the players?

Interesting! We have never gone, in any such international program, this is the first time we won the first match. This is a new experience and we are very happy with it.

What is it like, because this is a mixture of teams, which top teams immediately? Is coming as a middleing seed instead of playing?

Certainly, this bracket looks much easier than previous events we have participated. We have a good confidence in this match and it helped us a lot. The thing that helped us the most is that we had a boot camp in the United States for 10 days so that we could deal with the jaitlag and now we are very comfortable with the schedule of the match time.

How was the preparation? Did you really focus with the team to focus something so that I am ready for them?

We tried to be ourselves and focused on correcting everything. Even if you have a lot of strategies, you can’t do them properly and still lose. The main purpose was to focus on ourselves, how to process and not make mistakes because we believe that at this stage we are really a better team.

I wanted to ask about regional enmity, what do you like to have two Chinese teams here?

Finally, this time we will find two Chinese teams in this bracket. We hope we can make a place in the next stage. I do not know this principle but hope that if we make it to the two stage 2, we can get two more slots for the Asian region which will be great.

How do you highlight the difference between the two teams? Tello gets a lot of attention, but maybe the play style is viewed as an individualist, and I think if I’m wrong, let me know – I see you guys more as a strategic style when watching the game.

It is very difficult to explain. We are a team that is based on strategy but also on many communication. As far as their play style, my knowledge of Telo, they will play a lot of setup. They don’t talk much during their cycles, this is the main difference. If you look at their game, we look more obvious.

JEE is a good player with emotional help, and will provide mental support to other players. But most of the tale players don’t talk much. This is the main difference.

Another question on C4llm3SU3, is he a different type of player after staying in the NA for so long?

Yes, yes, yes, okay. North American players, their dignity is Yulu, ‘I’ll tap you,’ and I’ll do you, okay? They like to do something special, to try something very dangerous, so this is definitely a very different point from local Chinese players. We have tried many local players and they are very talented, but they are afraid to perform, or do some individual things.

Are you going to make it in Stage 2?

I hope Our start is good, okay? We look forward to meeting our teams in Stage 2.
