“New Jokers are being added to Balatro, which one is your favorite?”
This week, speaking at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Balatro’s publisher, Playstack’s Director of Communications, Wout Wan Holden, was an incredibly lame attempt to extract a slight -class information about the upcoming Balatro 1.1 update.
My dumb little gumbat didn’t work (of course it didn’t happen), but that’s not the reason that Van Holden didn’t tell me about the new jokers coming. From what I collect, the notorious private developer goes to the local tank and works on the game and does not necessarily share all the details with the playstack with every step.
Van Holden said, “I don’t think when (Baratro 1.1) is about to fall, he will tell us. He will show us only one day and says, there are 100 new jokers.” “He plays his card near his chest. Haha, a joke of the card.”
He was joking about these 100 jokes, but on the other hand, it is not completely impossible that we will get more new jokers than we expected. Van Holden shared a story that we have heard earlier, though this is still a good thing: Baitro was actually considered to be 120 jokers, but someone in the playstack mistakenly said that there would be 150 jokers. Instead of correcting them, the local Localonk has just gone and whipped 30 new jokes.
“So maybe I should whisper in his ear, like, ‘so how are they coming 200 new jokers?” Van Holden said. “And then see where it goes. But I’m surprised, maybe that (as you). I can hear it a few days ago,” he confessed.
He said, “I know (Local tanks)” I know it’s ‘good’ than ‘good’. “I think that when he is doing us, we are going to be very excited to peek secretly.”
