Despite the widespread success, a new report states that the 2023 Hogwarts Legacy will not be re -issued or any final edition of the actual planned extension this year. None of these projects were officially announced.
Bloomberg’s Jason SherryWho had previously reported the existence of a final edition and extension planned for the Hogwarts Legacy, stating that Warner Bruce Discovery is canceling both as part of his video game division’s reorganization. This extension will introduce new story lines for the popular Open World Harry Potter RPG, which was developed to connect the final edition base game, extension and other DLC content together.
The cancellation comes out of Warner Bruce. According to Bloomberg sources, the concern that the amount of material planned for expansion was not enough to justify the price of its demand. Despite the cancellation of the expansion, the Hogs Wargets Legacy Developer Neighborn Software is still reported to work on a sequel.
