Since Microsoft’s Official Windows 10 & Off Life comes closer (October 14, 2025 for those of you who do not already know!), Any starter will have to migrate to Windows 11 soon.
Well, we say Stragler – but our special statistics show that more than half (53 %) of Windows (53 %) are still using old software, when they are at risk of cybratics and other problems when support is over.
Our future 1,027 consumer survey found only 43 % that they upgraded – so what is the reason for the delay?

Well, in straight terms – this can be partially in our research because many users just don’t know that they need to be upgraded.
The majority of people (55 %) know they are on ‘what version’, but 23 % of those who are ‘believed enough’, 10 % who can ‘be educated’, and 12 % that are not certain at all.
(We also believe that our audiences in Takadar Pro are clearly very high -lover, so the actual percentage of those who are uncertain are more likely to be higher than that …)
Most of the surveyors (61 %) said they own two or more in their home, and 53 % say all their PC/laptop Windows 11 upgrades the requirements.
The survey found a little uncertainty, though 14 % of Windows 11 do not know the requirements of the system, and 4 % do not know the requirements of their device system. Here is hope.
For those who do not know, Ram requires 4GB for Windows 11 – and only half of them (53 %) was asked how much ram their device has, but 40 % said they believe – though this is not the whole picture.
We asked these 40 % how much ram they have, and 1 out of 4 respondents gave us an incomprehensible answer – either too much, or very few.
Most were ridiculous, such as 1 TB, which would also jeopardize industrial setups, so it is not really clear how many of us are ready or able to upgrade.
Although the adoption of Windows 11 may eventually increase, there are still many users. Microsoft is still urging users to update, as the firm has pushed endless AI features all over the world into desktops and laptops to try to change the tried.
