Although the headline in the extension of the Sims 4 seasons is probably the only in the weather and the seasons, it included another element without which it is difficult to imagine living without this location: a custom calendar with holidays! While the calendar was finally added to the base game when the cottage live extension was issued, the holidays still remain behind the DLC of the seasons.
As default, the season popularizes your calendar with four annual holidays that we celebrate in the real world: Love Day, Harvest Fest, Winter Fest, and on New Year’s Eve. But you are rarely just stuck with these holidays, because you can make your new one from the beginning-and you can also edit the pre-determined individuals or get rid of them if you want.
The holiday system in Sims 4 is not so complicated, as there are only five total factors with which you can mess with: Holiday name, its traditions, its theme for its decoration, its calendar icon, and your Sims remove the day. You can select a set of traditions. Now, let’s join the details.
Whatever we are going to talk about here is in the Calendar of Sims 4, which you can find by clicking on the calendar button on the left of your screen, exactly with the row of your SIM family pictures.

To edit the holidays in Sims 4
You will need to find the current holiday, you will need to find it in the calendar, and then click on that day. A holiday summary will appear on the left of the calendar, and clicking the pencil icon will bring you to the edit holiday screen. Once you arrive, you can change the icon by clicking the thumbnail in the upper left corner of the menu, changing the theme and whether you get work in the top right corner of the day, and the rest of the menu is dedicated to choosing the traditions. So if you are a person who does not celebrate Christmas and prefer that Winter Fest has a different type of bent, you can change the tradition of the festival’s spirit, including “holiday tree” activities, which have to illuminate Menura’s light or to illuminate traditions. Or you can make it completely different, or delete it.
Making new holidays in Sims 4
The process of making a completely new holiday is not very different from modifying anyone, except the fact that you are starting from the beginning instead of editing the current format. To start Loull, you will need to open the calendar and choose a day that is not currently a holiday (you can have only one holiday for every day). Then, on the left of the menu, you will see your SIM family work schedule for that day if they have someone, as well as the option to add a holiday below it.
If you are a person who wants to add a group of new holidays to the calendar, there are some things that you should keep in mind as you do. You want to refrain from walking with holidays that give your Sims a day off work and school. It would be as good as you pay a salary for your SIM without acting in reality, because every day there is a bank holiday, they will have no chance to advertise or raise such advertising, and your teen will have Sims students who do not know anything because they never went to school.
They Other Holidays
In addition to the four sets holidays, the season includes a series of small holidays that have only one tradition, which is randomly popup, such as the day of the dacoits and the day of fun. These holidays are not kept on the calendar until the game chooses to choose them, the place where Sims 4 will warn you that they are coming soon. You can’t edit this type of holidays, and you can’t make such working new.
Other things you can do with a calendar
By default, Sims 4 is 28 days a year, representing each of the four weeks in four weeks. But in the game options, in the environment section, you can instead make the seasons the last 14 or 28 days, which proportionally increases the length of one year -28 days, will continue for 112 days a year.
In addition to holidays for each day, you can set and schedule social programs on the calendar by a year ago (regardless of how long the year is), so you can schedule a bar travel travel on your SIM birthday, or whatever you want. Sadly, like a weekly bowling night, there is no way to set up repeated events. You just have to make every program individually.
Sims 4 Holiday traditions
Below you can use all holiday traditions that you can choose when you make your holiday. Since the way the holiday menu is developed allows you to see a handful of traditions at a time, it may be easy to think that there are not many of them-but there are actually four dozen traditions, many of which are real holidays (and festivals from Sinfield).
