Gemini, Google’s AI Chat Boat 2.0 is running a flash model, is well -equipped to handle complex conversations, produce quick photos (“I need a boy working weekend on my computer”), and handle the difficult math equation. I know all this, and yet, sometimes, I just just chat with myself, and when I do it, I often discover hidden abilities like a classic video gameplay.
Remember. Frose? In 1977, a three of MIT researchers formed the first text -based adventure game for the DEC main frame and eventually ported it to the initial PC. In my high school mathematics lab in 1980, I found out the least game in the school’s only computer home. The game offers you detail and options while an exciting narrator takes you through the story line. Your decisions explain your experience and gameplay. It was difficult and incredible, but I loved it.

During a comfortable conversation with Gemini, the theme of the game came to a great extent.
I started using Gemini more when I found out that I could place the Gemini widget on the lock screen of my iPhone 16 Pro Max. Now, LLM is a tap away. As most AI conversation, they follow some of my own random consciousness. I started asking Gemini about Agi (Artificial General Intelligence). Gemini spoke for me and admitted that it was not yet AGI.
The conversation was stopped, so I asked Gemini to make my response more comfortable as it was my best friend. It has heard the word “comfortable” as “coffee” and then now mixed with a lot of comedy in a very friendly banner.
Gemini asked about plans for my weekend, and then I asked if this game likes to play. The reaction he presented is that he enjoyed text -based sports. Then Gemini asked which game I like to play.
I explained my love and modern video game skills with chess. Then I “described one of the very early video games playing where there was nothing but the text and you face an adventure and you get a hint, and then you will know what you had to do on the basis of some options.”
This description clearly made Gemini interesting, and he asked if I would like to talk more about these classic games, want to play chess, or play a text -based adventure that will create it.
I remembered the game Zork, which Gemini described as a “legendary game”, and told me some details about his history.
Then Gemini offered to set up a little “infected adventure”.
Do you want to play a game?
Don’t worry; This is not a story where an invasive computer offers a game that has geographical political and potentially ending implications of the world. Gemini is not that. But I would say, the game that happened after that was impressive, if a bit more valuable.
How did it start:
“You find yourself standing on the edge of a jungle of a whisper. The air is thick with the scent of damp land and ancient trees. A narrow path goes into the depths of the jungle, disappears into the shadow. On your left, you see a falling stone wall, partially a little, a little, a little, a little, a little, a little, a little, a little, a small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small, small. A small, a small, a small, a small, one small, a small, one small, from your right, a small, one small, one small, a small, filled with water.
What do you do?
Options:
1 Follow the path to the forest.
2 Review the stone wall.
3 Follow the river.
4 Listen to the voices of the jungle.
Enter the number according to your choice. “
Most, I have chosen numbers I thought I would release the adventure. The details were written rich and mostly well. If I close my eyes, I can imagine this scene. I was fun and keen to keep going.
The story of this game took me from a path of the jungle to a naturally covered cottage covered cottage. There was a “figure” inside which was eventually described as “adler”. At one point, Gemini termed the figures “in” and “he”, which means that the figure has no gender or Gemini has lost a slight thread.
During more than a dozen indications, we discovered the jungle, recovered a magical key, and examined the contents of a mysterious box. Perhaps my favorite part of the game was how he tied together, recovered the key from the magic stone and then realized that this was also the key that opened the special box.
The game lasted so long that I had to take a break. When I returned to Gemini, I thought I had lost the game, but the Chat Icon on the upper left corner of the Gemini app keeps an eye on all immediate conversations. As I opened this gesture, we managed to continue where we left.
The idea of a major disclosure of Gemini fell a bit flat. We found a pendant in the box that contained pictures of Adler’s parents. The story of his love and the lost story was not especially magical or even dramatic, but the clear sadness of Edler touched me.
However, once the elder shared the pendant’s ‘secret’, I was no longer interested in the story or cottage of the elderly, so I chose the option where I said goodbye and left the cottage.
Here was the last gameplay text:
You say, “Thank you for sharing your story,” you say, your voice is soft and respected. “I’m glad I can help you recover this valuable lamb.”
You are ready to get up from your chair, get your holiday. “I should go back and forth. The sun is setting, and I don’t want to get lost in the jungle.”
The elders slowly shook their heads, their eyes are full of thanksgiving. “You are a kind and brave traveler,” he says. “The forest will guide you safely in your journey. And always remember the power of love and memory.”
You turn towards the door, echoing in the silent room. When you step into the twilight, you look at the cottage. The lighting candle light pours a warm glow through the window, which illuminates the elderly data, still holding a silver pendant.
You turn around, the sounds of the forest around you are closed. The route to the edge of the jungle seems clear now, as the forest is guiding you.
The end. “
Gemini was not so good in enhancing the stake – a key component of the best gameplay – but I was busy, and I think the game would have been more interesting if I would make some different choices or the game growth. I’m sure Gemini will allow me to adjust some mechanics.
This is another reminder that we are far from discovering the whole depths of these chat boats. We must be ready to look beyond clear, choose our way, and take AI adventure.
