Super NES is known for the legendary RPG, and here are very few beloved like Earth Bound, quirky science -fi JRPG, which has given birth to one of Nintendo’s most sustainable fandoms. One of the great works of its success can be attributed to its charming dialogue, which goes through a complete act of localization to entertain English -speaking players. The original director and author, Shegesto Ati, is seemingly happy with these changes.

A Recently published conversation With Marcus Lund Bloom, who wrote the English script of the game, Ati explained that he appointed the script for the original Earth Bound – or Mother 2, as it was known in Japan – to Masuki Miura. “We have written the whole script like this, so he understands the importance of every line more than anyone else,” he said. “If I said something strange, he would not type it just like that. He would stop and ask me to clarify. And I wanted to understand it, so I would explain it.”
