Indian gaming trade show and convention organizers made a secret to the Spring Show in San Diego this week before the full release of their schedule, as tribes continue to monitor the impact of the Trump administration’s policy on their nations.
This year’s show has identified the 40th repetition and is underway from March 31 to April 3 at the San Diego Convention Center. Its main idea “The future of Indian gaming: Next Chapter.” The organizers said it reflects an important moment for the tribal gaming industry, as it navigates the era of rapid changes and innovation.
During a webinar on Thursday, Conference Chair Victor Rocha, IGA Chair Ernie Stevens, and IGA Executive Director Jason Galis unveiled the preliminary details of the educational program. Educational sessions error will be posted with the speaker this week On the website
The 2025 IGA Conference Program will discover that emerging technologies, regulatory scenes, and shifting market dynamics are renovating the future of Indian gaming.
“The show is more serious.” Sweep stacks gaming is an immediate threat, Galus said. In the upper part of it, the sports contract is marketing that the Community Future Trading Commission is thinking about organizing the threat to playing sports nationwide.
The Commission will hold a round table to help promote its approach to forecast markets, including sports related contracts.
Rocha said the show would highlight the opportunities and challenges facing tribal casino and gaming works, which would emphasize the importance of adaptation, flexibility and strategic eradism in maintaining development and maintaining tribal sovereignty. The last two days of the trade show conference will go to the center stage.
“This is more than just one expo,” Rocha said. “This is our platform for education, strategy and critical dialogue. We are debating where the tribal gaming is going. With a new (presidential) administration, this conversation is more important than ever.
The conference begins at 1 pm this week as part of a deep sinking of tribal growth online gaming. Four consecutive sessions will deal with the market capacity, launching independent platforms, forming strategic partnerships and discussing successful agreements.
Tuesday is the whole day of the educational session on various topics. Ten tracks will be highlighted in sessions that run from 9am to 5pm
They are tracking casinos and gaming work. Economic impact and development; Emerging trends; Interactive Wedding; Legal and tribal sovereignty; Regulatory and complying; Greeting and monitoring; Technology and innovation; Player Development; And an Indian gaming association track.
Rocha sheds light on the emerging trends that will test the current political land. “Sovereignty and tribal gaming: Charges with the new Trump administration” will consider the impact of new federal policies on tribal sovereignty, gaming regulations, and ground trust methods.

Rocha said, “This is about to be a great topic of the show.” This is about solving the problem. We do not run our hair with fire. We do not touch the problems. We are moving. We are moving. All hands on the deck. This is not a drill. On the one hand, we are doing our business, but we are doing our own politics.
Gayles said the tribal leaders will discuss the Trump administration on Tuesday in their membership meeting on policy. He said that he would reinforce the country’s status at the national level of Indian tribes and agreements that could not be eliminated.
“This is a closed door meeting, and we need all the representatives there to pay attention to it,” said Gales. “We have six to seven weeks of things that can happen, so our show will be timely. We need tribal leaders to come to him and maybe get a good statement from it. Then we will see what we need to do ahead of it.
Gayles also said he was looking forward to discussing issues with commercial partners, adding that he had talked to many slot manufacturers about any tariff extension.
“Many of these people get their raw material from abroad,” said Giles, think about every small shop in every casino. All those things come from China. This is a different period, to deal with (president). By the start of a trade show, our pants can fire.
Stevens said their pants could already be on fire and that the association continues to talk to lawmakers and Congress and agency staff to protect the tribal interests.

“We will have a serious discussion on the policy (in the trade show) and we have to stand with tribal sovereignty,” Stevens said. “It’s a terrible time right now, especially if we do not give our people any confidence, assure them, and help them understand that this administration will detect it and work with us.”
However, Stevens pointed out, however, the Secretary of Interior Doug Bergam has a lot of experience working with the tribes as the former governor of North Dakota. Tribal schools and college financing are in their concerns.
“This is the way in the world in the next two years,” said Gales.
A tribal energy meeting will be held on Wednesday and on the Expo Floor on Wednesday and Thursday.
For the second consecutive year, this year’s conference will be presented a digital play summit, which includes ice and sports batting exhibitions and content sessions on the show floor. This is part of the Expo on Wednesday and Thursday. “It was very successful last year, and we are passionate about it again,” Rocha said.
