If you are not one of the lucky customers to raise your hand on the RTX 50 series graphics card, and are stuck with some old things, some famous game developers are warning against updating the latest NVIDIA drivers.
As reported Tech spotsThe recently released sports developers have first presented notes to the general questionnaire and patch notes, respectively. This note recommends people on the RTX 40-series cards who go to the driver version 572.83 in favor of 566.36, who were launched last December.
RTX 30 Series Cards are advised to get the latest driver, but in the Enzoi patch note, “If matters are intact, we recommend installing version 566.36”.
Both Inzoi Patch Note And First Barisk Khazan The general questionnaire recommends a single set of drivers for the same card. So far, these are the only major development teams that recommend consumers to do so.
The sets of any notes do not have specific issues that will run with the latest drivers containing RTX 40-series cards. Earlier, Baarsar noted that “the use of version 572 can cause stability problems” but this does not make it clear what these stability issues are. RTX 50-Series GPUS recommends that they get the latest drivers as usual.
Graphics Driver 572.83 Was launched on March 18, 2025, and after that one Feedback thread in official NVIDIA forums. This thread is filled with users who report their veins that hesitates are hesitant or generally working worse than before receiving the update.
“I have 4090 mobile GPUs, and although I’m using the latest driver version, I’m also experiencing these issues,” says one user. Another says, “I’m sure this update has completely brick my HP Oman RTX 4080 laptops.” However, some users report that their veins are not otherwise affected, one user has claimed that their desktop RTX 4080 is “really no problem” while their mobile RTX 4080 is struggling to run well.
If you have the same problems, or feel a bit cautious with potential problems, you can find your product and go back to the back graphics drivers. Nvidia Driver Site And download the recommended version for your card.
My RTX 4070 Super Rig has not seen any turmoil since installing the latest graphics drivers, but some major developers are recommending rollingback drivers, I will do the same unless you get any fixes.
