IOS 19 – or iOS 26, as allegedly called it – seems to be a major upgrade to iOS 18, in which rumors have pointed to widely modified design, among other changes.
We must know exactly what it will offer soon, as Apple is expected to unveil the new software on June 9 in WWDC 2025, but I can’t help before, but I wish for some things.
So below, you will find five of the iOS 19 upgrades I hope I am hoping to see in the WWDC 2025 – this is a mixture of things that have been rumored, and things I really like.
1. A whole new format
One of the biggest rumors we have heard about iOS 19 is that it can look completely different from iOS 18.
So far, through the information tight bits, the interface design will be more compatible with Macos and iPados. But that does not mean that it will imitate these existing designs – but these three may have major changes.
It can focus on focusing on glass -affected design, and the entire operating system, and focusing on the entire operating system.
It all looks great, and with the iOS, the same has been the same for a long time, it can be what is needed to avoid feeling the operating system.
2. Great AI Photo Editing Tools
Although Apple has begun to wander around artificial intelligence, the features that its properties have yet to launch are a lot of leave to be the desired, especially its AI photo editing tools are frustrated.
Apple is not working on improvement in them, so this is something I want to see in WWDC 2025. Ideally, I would like the comprehensive image editing abilities – which includes the ability to move and remove items, increase the background, change facial impressions, and much more.
Some of them are already in iOS, but it is not handled very well, that is, there is a lot of room for improvement.
Sadly, I am not expecting that this upgrade will be presented, with a report suggested that Apple’s WWDC 2025 key note will be talked about if it will be “late down”. This does not mean that this improvement will not eventually come, but most of Apple’s major AI projects will not come down before 2026.
3. An AI upgrade for Siri
Similarly, I would also like to see a long promised AI upgrade for Siri. This means that this chat becomes much more like GPT or Gemini.
This will make it more personal, dialogue and more clever than Siri, which we know and tolerate. If Apple can show it on WWDC 2025, it can be a big win.
Sadly, Like the other major tools of the AI, the leak shows that we may not find it by 2026 – which does not completely reject Apple by giving its preliminary demo, but that does not mean that it is unlikely to be part of iOS 19.
4. The main upgrade in health and fitness
Apple has focused heavily on health and fitness in recent years, Apple Watch and iPhone pairing is a powerful tool to track your activity and votals, but still there is still improvement.
Many third -party apps and rival platforms have many more properties than Apple on this front, including stress levels, energy and recovery tracking, providing AI insights, and more.
These are all things that are theoretically possible with software updates rather than the need for any new hardware, so I want to bring such a thing as part of the iOS 19.
Apple is allegedly working on AI upgrade for its health app, so at least something I want is probably at work. But as the other AI items on this list, it will probably not be ready over time for the initial version of the WWDC, or iOS 19.
5. A big gaming push
There was a time when iOS looked like it could become a strong gaming platform. Actually, there were twice.
In the early days before hunter monetization plans, and second when Apple launched the Apple Arcade, initially stocked with high quality immunity.
But eyebrows like Freemium and Gacha came to dominate the game App Store with the manipulation strategy. And after a while Apple stopped pursuing more interesting costs on the Apple Arcade, and instead focused more on the changed version of comfortable games and existing App Store Release.
As a result, despite all its power, it is difficult to recommend the iPhone as a gaming device. So I would like to see Apple a concrete effort to bring more high quality games to iOS.
There will be no specific advice, but it is rumored that a newly dedicated gaming hub may be included as part of the iOS 19. It itself seems to be designed for “successes, leaderboards, and other activity”, as well as providing easy access to sports and providing easy access to sports.
Therefore, this does not necessarily mean that some kinds of changes to the type of sports available on the iOS will be made, but it is possible that Apple, as part of this gaming pus, will also reinforce its Apple Arcade’s offer with some interesting releases.
