Updated stable stamus update, Version 3.7.8Finally, handheld has brought the support of Legion Go, making the first certified non -steam deck stamus device. Is the one The stamus version of the Legion Go S Launching in a couple of days, but that also means that the Windows version, which is already in the jungle, should now work with stamus.
This latest version of OS has received better support for “other AMD -powered hand hands (such as pathogen Eli and original Legion Go)”, though we have tested it with a framework with 13 Strexpoint Laptop, which has the same internal like a handheld and we don’t like it a little.
I had no such problem with Lashkar -e -Go S. I have been excited to use the valve’s OS on this device since I learned that there is about to be synchronized, because sometimes, the use of windows on a handheld device may be unusual. So, I thought I would try it and see how the stamus on it stands against the windows.
Once I stopped using the Dodi external drive to install stamus and turned into one, which works well, the installation was very smooth. Valve explains How to install OS hereUnder the “re -image / stamus” section.
You download the recovery photo, burn it on a USB drive in Rufus, and boot your army in it. Keep in mind that you have to disable the safe boot in the first Legion Go S. Bios (Power Off from the Power Off + Power button).
I also made sure that the boot from the USB was enabled in BIOS settings, and then I plugged into the USB drive and boot in the pre -bibus screen and chose the USB drive from the boot menu. It added me to Stamus.
From there, the installation was easy. I chose the icon to wipe me with the drive and install OS, and run away through the installation of stamus, log in to my Wi -Fi and then steam. It took less than 30 minutes throughout the process, though this will surely depend on your downloaded speed.
Once I entered, I knew things were official because OS gave me a little run from what the OS did in Legion Go buttons and stamus. Guide Tour will end with the “we hope you will enjoy your army”, which has led me to assure me.
The recovery that you install the image is not actually the latest 3.7.8 version, though it is 3.7.7. But as soon as I installed everything, a refreshing was awaited, and it brought me to 3.7.8. Don’t let me update until I plug the army, though, so fairly a fair warning.
Once it was arranged, everything was left was to adjust the TDP. It is done from the right hand steam settings. I set it on 25W because my test performances on Windows were done in mode, which has an average of 25W. There is the option of promoting the whole path by 40W, as it is on Windows. (I have found such a high TDP setting for not being able to really be able to be able to do so during my original test on Windows.)
As you can see, the game runs a little better than the play -run Windows with the play -run stamus. This is dominant. Because of this, the low background is due to the blotting resources, provided the stamus is a lightweight arc -based Linux dystro.
Although the black fiction has not shown an increase without adding (perhaps because the frames are falling into the title of this demand), it has increased the stamus in cyberpank by 23 % and the horizon zero by 19 %. The latter game is to increase the above thing to some extent, but in cyberpank, there is still a 31 % improvement with stamus.
In practice, I will probably play the game on this TDP less than 25W. I will probably go for the 15W to help the steam deck comfortably help with battery life, just colliding with more demanding sports.
Hopefully the fans will also help, as one thing I have found so far is that these fans of Legion Go can meet Sharp It doesn’t matter what OS I use. I saw this, especially when downloading the game, weirdly, because it seems that fans enter the over drive (maybe the Wi -Fi card is suffering from the higher temples).
In the Windows version, there is an easy way to adjust fans’ curves, which helped me deal with this problem. It does not seem that this is the case in stamus, though I have heard that there is a way to do so in which to use Ducky and install the plugin.
