John Boya gave everything during the Star War audition process: The Force awakened – and it apparently included almost all the money.
The British actor, who was eventually cast as a Rebel art made from the Storopper in the famous Science -Fi franchise, recalled how he played a role during a panel at the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo last week. “I had been giving auditions for so long, so I felt as if it removed my dignity a bit,” Boiga told the audience. People), Saying that he would never forget the day, “director JJ Abramis broke the news.
“I decided to make an excuse as I am busy, you know, when you just show that you are busy.” I got more things to do, JJ. He goes, ‘Where are you?’ And I am very busy, in Green, I am in this art show.
He explained, “At that time I had £ 45 in my account. JJ took £ 33 and 83 p £ 33 and 83 p.”
Fortunately, Boiga made a place in the restaurant to meet Abrams, and this conversation was to change her life forever. “I took every step, I was nervous,” he remembered. “I was like, ‘okay, cool.’ You know, JJ is an extraordinary, good man, and if he tells me, I don’t get a share, he will still feed me.
“I sat down and, JJ just said, ‘Thank you very much for coming back. I know we have done you with such auditions.” At that time, I tried to get another audition, ‘Please, I can re -audition, and it is (in Star War).
The top cherry author Director Lawrence Casadan also showed in the meeting that he should say that the Force Aquisis was going to change his career. “This is Hollywood ***. You know what I am saying?” , Boyga told the audience in Chicago.
Casadan was not wrong – though he had been working professionally for almost a decade, John Boya jumped towards Stardam thanks to the 2015 film, followed by two sequel, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star War: Sky Walker’s rise.
