Karma bets on EREVs and ultra-luxury for its latest reboot

Marcus MacCamone has a lot to prove. He is the president of Karma Automoto, a position he started in 2023, leading the company that has a tumultuous history. McCimon says this is not a delay, but the market demand is the answer. After bringing other players to the party in the premium luxury performance space, Karma will bring his entire EV to the party. Sourcing of these batteries, though, can cause trouble. While Karma builds its battery pack in its Morino Valley, California, factory, it buys individual cells from a supplier. McC Common says Karma will stop source of cells from China by the end of the year, and when the new supplier is close to the house, it is not domestic.
