Lead Diablo artists say the best way to design endless spiky armor sets is to go look at anything that isn’t Diablo: ‘You can come back with a fresh mind and create new things’

In April, I had the opportunity to ask the lead Diablo 4 developers how difficult it is for their giant teams to come up with notorious names for gameplay activities when they spent 30 years in eliminating every theory in the vicious dictionary. Their answer: very hard.

Last week, the PC Gamer spoke to lead artists in the Diablo franchise, and we had the opportunity to raise a similar question. After designing thousands of barbed, vicious coaches, how will they be affected when they have to design new diabetic gear pieces and ghosts – whether with the help of fearless or someone else?

“What I encourage for the art team is to get out of diabel once in a while.” “At the end of the week, stop looking at the diabetic imaging. Go to the museum, go to experience other things, go to the coach, look different different forms. There are many real ideas from this place.”
