Computex always provides things that rotate and twist for which who knows what is the reason – just ask Lian Lee’s motorcycle curved water cooler. But I didn’t expect to see one Power supply Everything to get treated. This power supply, which features Swiley Tech, is also from Lean Lee, so let’s go back and ask them what is happening here.
What is happening is that the company has decided to rotate the power supply power connector to 90 degrees. My reaction to this came in three stages. First: What’s the matter? Second: Oh, that’s, but why would you need it? Third: Oh, He is Why do you need it, it is cool. True story
Its long and short is that it seems that Lean Lee has to allow different cable management in different systems. The power connector revolves around PSU or someone else, which means that the power cables within your case can get out of one direction or in another direction.
I was not fully convinced how useful it would be, but the more I think about it means it. For example, just look at the rear section of the Lean Lee O11 vision case, our current choice for the best budget PC case (below). With the power supply in its image rotation, the cables are eliminated and it has to take a circuit route for the passage. If PSU can be rotated, the direct path of the cables will be higher.
This may not be the most interesting thing in the world – not when you have a gaming mouse that has a fan and the computer shows strange and amazing PC cases on the floor – but I’m present for it. Something simple and practical.
Competex 2025
Catch up with Competex 2025: We are on the ground in Taiwan’s largest tech show to see that Nvidia, AMD, Intel, asus, gigabyte, MSI and more.
There is a concern with it, however, it is safety and longevity. This can include a big point for PSU failure to do things there. I am convinced that all this is designed with it in mind and it is not that any capacitor is being rotated, but when the zero parts rotate, it is really a concern compared to that.
Nevertheless, I can’t help but be simple easily affecting: a simple method that can make a very practical difference in building. Forget everyone to make this shiny RGB and band screen nonsense, give me a concrete, easy, practical improvement at any day.
It looks like this ‘rotation PSU’ now comes in a couple of formats: 1,000 W and 1,200 W, which is nominated by 1000G and RSS122000G Manikar respectively.
