I never understood why the gamers rise in weapons about all different PC store fronts. It takes two seconds to click on the icon on your desktop and load another platform. You have easily access to keeping your entire library in one place, I get it-this is why I mainly use steam-but also to play a game a game just to download the epic game store anti-sheet. On steam It goes to show how it has become hatred.
But after two months of cases with the Ubesft Connect, I am ready to catch a pitch in the street with a crowd of angry gamers.

I purchased 5 for steam sales earlier this year. I was at a big distant voice and wanted to continue my way through the series. No problem, I will contact Ubisoft and ask them to link them. I was left in the support line for weeks, flying right through my refund window, just to be told that it was impossible. So, I waited for the spring sale, removed my steam library from Krai 5, and went to buy it a second time. You can’t do that too. Even I did not try to give him a gift from any other account. Finally, I contacted the steam and explained the situation, only the refund should be denied. Removed 5 had become an ugly deskweight with which I could not do anything.
Finally, the solution was something that was not even supported – I had to buy the preare ‘Gold’ edition and launch it on my PC (not deck) to ensure that it did not hijack the login account ten years ago. For months of trouble for a minor game, thanks to UB.
This is a valuable lesson of digital gaming: you have nothing. But this is especially surprising in the case of Ubisft. Buying sports on steam, you don’t even get ownership illusions. If you lose your Ubysoft Account, all those games become dead weights in your library because of this unintentional link, nor can Ubisoft or Steam Support staff do nothing about it.
There is no reason to use these store fronts on steam
I found why these store fronts are. The valve with a monopoly on PC gaming will not be good for anyone. Theory, to improve healthy competition companies. There is no reason to jump and use a Ubesft connect on steam or EGS, so when it is forced to, it feels difficult.

I will not show that people do not behave like store front sports teams. It is very common with all users who are strange loyalty with billions of dollars of brands like Apple and Samsung, or Xbox and PlayStation. That is why people love GOG and celebrate every retro classic that brings back. Whether the store front breaks or the publisher deals with the game, it’s still yours – forever. It is a unique hook, which keeps it completely separate from the steam and makes it valuable to its customers.
