Lost Records: Bloom & Ridge – Tape 2 is a difficult game for review because I have already reviewed it. In February, I wrote about why I liked the first episode of the new game from life, a strange developer handle. After eliminating the tape 2: anger, not much changed.
I immediately have a shy high school girl at the story center, especially Swan, in the center of the story. I loved to know her new friends, autumn, Nora and Kate, which ends with a tangled in several pleasant summer months. And took me by the (literal) mystery box setup, which re -combines girls in their hometown after 27 years.

A tall bloom, a short furious
For my relief, most of the things Bloom did well, anger also performs well. The second chapter chooses the place where he already departed, with a group of rails about a girl in the 1995 timeline, while her 2022 works through her memories to find out the source of the addressed package. This is the best -looking game ever. In this post is still human and specific, and I still consider Swan to be a wonderful, sometimes heart -wrenching real character, especially when the story comes to its emotional result. The use of the approach to both the third person and the first person, and the way the Kimcarin mechanic blurred the line between them, still felt individuality and special.
Here is not that much love here than Tape 1. Long before the lost record came out, I wondered how it would handle the division of its two installments. Episides Games historically have five parts, or at least three, which provides you at least one event for each of the traditional story structure. With just two, the lost records had the ability to be all killers, no filler. But it also had the ability to reduce its move in an unorganized structure.
And this is the biggest problem of tape 2. It is significantly smaller than seven or eight of the four or five hours ago – which makes it a bit anticical. Although the bloom’s location created a lot of thematic sense, anger would have benefited even more. This will be less likely for the players who experience lost records: Bloom & Ridge all together. But it was tested on its own, the event is getting a short end of the story stick, providing the third act while the Act 1 and Act 2 were both to work with Tape 1.
Tape keeps 2 standards high
The quality is still high, and there are some new things to be excited about this time. This sequel ends up that I found out really interesting. It has a satisfying result, but he left me with the feeling that there are still more stories in this world to tell. And most importantly, he kept me on the edge of most of his last 30 minutes. The first episode really cares about these characters, and Tape 2 successfully plays this investment.
There are cases that were not present in the tape before. The lost records did not really need a stealth section, but the introduced here is a kindly short. And when Bloom finished the note that Corey – Kate’s older sister’s boyfriend, who works for his family – may not really happen They Finally, anger makes it almost the evil wandering. Here are certain answers that will not satisfy the players in search of an excellent mystery box. If this is the important thing you are looking for, you may be disappointed.
But this was not the one I was here for, and in view of the history of donut NOD, I suspect that most players who try the lost record are looking for JJ Abrams style yarn. They are here for the characters, as I was. I will eventually have to abandon it for tape 2 and overall lost records, to provide a provocative experience that feels like being young, even if you were not born in the 90s. Lost records: The second and final event of Bloom and Ridge is a mostly satisfactory result. I wish it just wrapped things could find a place to work.

- A satisfying, emotional result of Swan’s story.
- Everything that was the last time (graphics, character, changing point of view) is still very good this time.
- The choice of some strange character that deviates from the set of tape 1.
- This small chapter needed more room to breathe.
