I’m playing garage: Last week, bad dreams on steam and how strange it was it!

The story of the garage is now known nowadays, it was originally released in 1999 but was considered a lost media for years until it was recently known with improvement in both mobile and PCs, recovered and recently re -issued.

The game itself is a mysterious solving point and click adventure game that features survival. You spend most of your time talking to different other robots, collecting items and indicators about your next goal, collecting currency (stamps), upgrading your body, holding crabs and catching fishing. You see, unlike the other point and click games, the garage really has more conditions: your body has two gaugees, one for an ego and one for fuel. Both the fuel and the ego are permanently spent when you go around the world, if you end with the two, its game ends. You can fill your values by going to milk fuel stations for fuel and ego clinic to fill your ego. To do this, you will need stamps and you can get stamps by performing actions (think of achievements), caught crabs and shrimp or fishing.

Although it seems a bit strange already, it is only surprised there. The basic summary of the game is that you see yourself in a machine and eat fish from the maze and find yourself in a mechanical city that is full of dark and proud and strange robots. In this 10-20 hour adventure you will know what the world is, what other machines serve and why you ended there. This is not a horror game, but it is permanently a painful feeling – people talk strangely, they do strange things, even how you go to the tracks around the city seems strange.

The gameplay itself is easy, you just visit the screen using arrows and occasionally use items or fish. That said, you often have only a slight glue about your next goal and where you want to go, it may need a lot of trials and mistakes. Fortunately it is quite accountable to travel around the map so it is not very disturbing, but I still had to rely on the walkthrough that is only available on the garage detacked and even the walkthrough has only the basic summary of the theories about which you have to do on every chapter! Talk to Lao? Good luck finding it! Install Stage 4 Engine – Parts cost 15K stamp, how do you get that many stamps depend on you. I highly recommend to have a map of each character’s name and location, because it is easy to get lost in a city like Maze. Although collecting stamps is a bit Grande, it always felt something ahead, whether it is getting new information or finding new frogs and shrimp. There is a lot to do in the city outside the central struggle, but sometimes it is difficult to see what is needed and what not. The game is also quite non -linear, so you can find items that you need before, if you certainly have means sources.

Where the game really shines is the world, sounds and stories. The world is so ugly at the same time but at the same time there is a kind of beauty. In the background, you will ever hear a strange sound track that seems a bit far away but still gives comfort. It takes some time to open the story, but then you can’t wait to find answers to all your questions. The garage does not have a clear answer to everything – although first, the second half of the game leads you to 4 different ends and many things are left to the player so that you can be interpreted and you can consider after finishing the game. I don’t want to spoil the story here, but if you want an interpretation of the sports story, watch this video through my favorite YouTuber Tangomsi.

I highly recommend the garage to any fans of weird sports and points and click fans! You have to experience the realistic vision of Tomomi Sakoba, a psychological world creator!
