Following the announcement of Mario Cart World this week for Switch 2, Nintendo showed further footage of the gameplay during the Tree House Live event, and more information about the game came out.
Social media users overseas a segment from the broadcasting agency that shows the Mario Cart World Character Select screen. One page has three rows of four letters for a total of 12, with seven tabs shown at the bottom of the screen. If each tab has 12 characters, it shows that Mario Cart has a total of 84 roles in the world.

For comparisons, Mario Cart 8 had 36 characters for the switch for Delux, which are featured in the base game and through the DLC. It is not yet clearly confirmed that if the Mario Cart World really has 84 roles. Since we have not seen the full roster, it is unknown. But the purpose of the Mario Cart World is to be a major Mario Cart game overall, so a major role is not surprising.
The new video of the Mario Cart World also states that the game is spread in seven cups with at least 28 tracks, as well as 24 vehicles. Interestingly, it seems that the Mario Cart World has formed completely cars. Apparently players do not choose individual parts to collect the car.
An important question that is not answered for the Mario Cart World is that if the game will have courses like DLC’s role and Mario Cart 8 Delux.
