MindsEye’s story isn’t open world at launch, players build the game’s content

Q. What will happen with the game after launch?
We intend to add multi -player, (and) we have a plan to create an open world. (..)

Q. Mindsey is positioned as a linear game. You are the most famous for creating an open World Games. What was the decision to make Mindsse more linear, a statement -powered experience?

I think it is more difficult to present some stories to the players in the open world setting. The open world gives you freedom – you do not necessarily want the freedom to present a story. For Mindsi, this is a character, Jacob Diaz, a very fixed time in life. When he arrives at the readrock, you choose as a jacob, and then you leave Jacob to a special place in the future.

And so, it will be very difficult for us to have an open world there. These are horses for courses: it depends on what you are doing. But it was a linear game of Jacob’s story.

Saying that, there are the world’s open experiences, and we can build them through Blood Dot Manday. Here is a free room open World Mode, where you play a different roles and you see its time, from the end of the Mindi to our next big planned launch location.

It launches with a multi -player, and completely linear struggle. The free room is a separate game mode – where PC players produce content. So like a little GTA online, except online, and you pay to make content.
