Moonlight on the Series X might be my new best friend.

Edit: I recommend that this thorny version use Apollo instead of sunshine because it includes auto virtual display, HDR toggle, and primary display toggling. Extremely easy !!

This last week I had traded in my series because I’m going out of a house with Rome Matt, and will Likely Use more than my residential room (Series X), which I have put on my series (with my PC on my desk). However, my PC has a 4070 TI Super / 5800x3D rig and will be upwards while TV and my only Xbox Console, Series X, will be on the house. I tried to get the moonlight/sunshine to help reach Alan Week 2 because I wanted all the bells and whistles but got into trouble.

My gaming monitor is a Dell 1440p 165hz “HDR” monitor that is useless in HDR so it has never been continued. I Like Instead of playing at 4K with HDR, and buying a expensive new monitor, I felt that I could find streaming on TV again. Bonus Points for Sound Sound!

I pulled out my 10 -year -old steam link today to strengthen my 10 -year -old steam link and surprisingly she worked like a charm, but due to HDMI 1.4 it is limited to 1080p, which was standard at that time. So, then I tested the Science X900E TV on the Steam Link app and it * looked better but overall performing poorly (the audio interval was incomplete). After that, I decided to go another moonlight Android TV, and surprisingly, everything is working well! But, as an elderly TV, I thought that Series X would be a better client that would be a better disciplined stream (with the extra advantage of a better controller).

So, I once again tried the Moonlight UWP on my series X. And that’s great! Focusing on steam with the mouse input / guide button is a bit burdened, but usually it runs like charm! It feels like local input latitude or near it, zero samples, no audio delays, etc. My only regret is not able to stream 4k120 due to my monitor/TV limits!

Playing the Tower Bourne on 4K60 in HDR gives me an Xbox experience and allows me to enjoy this game .. 4k HDR who does not monitor my Really Do

If you have to know about doing this work:

  • Barley Click on your Xbox on the edge (for any Xbox, not just series X) and ‘Download from Microsoft Store’.
    • Or maybe find a moonlight in the Xbox Store on the console.
  • Install the Sunshine (program that is a host server that runs on your computer for moonlight). On Windows, this is an easy example of running. (Latest release here)
  • Configure Sunshine’s network settings or just use defaults (which should be fine for most).
  • Launch the moonlight and set your pin to connect to the sun
    • If there is difficulty in eliminating a stream with a stream during the pin phase: Run C: \ program files \ Sanshine \ Tolls \ Audio – Info.Ax real Quick and try again – he determined it for me.
  • Contact your computer on the Xbox Moonlight app and launch Steam Big Photo!
    • Steam is already made with a large picture as a sun. You can like it and add more commands, apps, etc., but mostly it’s fine.

Note: Since my TV is 4K60 HDR but my monitor is 1440p, I enabled DLDSR in the NVIDIA control panel and togited 4K as a resolution. Then in Windows, I set my monitor desktop resolution on 4K, 60, and HDR. After that, according to my TV, I used the HDR -based Toll on Windows to make my HDR a HDR according to the best picture standards. Make sure your Xbox Console is also set for 4K HDR!

It should also work for AMD and Intel card. Stream quality can only be different.

I tested Real Quick with Alan Week 2 4K DLSS performance and path tracing. I may need to replay Heliblade 2 with this setup. I will use this method to stream sports Noticeable Outfarms Series X version. If I want to play on the sofa, think cyberpank 2077. Otherwise, I’m fine with how they come to the console.
