If you need a good tech news story today, Kogninson has just covered you because he has announced the launch of clinical trials for his Xon-R-Redset. According to ieee.org This brain computer interface (BCI) promises to give paralyzed patients the ability to communicate once again.

Cogninson’s Exxon-Redset is a device designed to read brain activity using EEG as directly input for control. Using a brain response as inputs, Tech is trying to communicate back to people who are unable to move due to things like amyotrophic litter sclerosis. It is one of the many new BCIs who are hoping to improve people’s lives.
