We continue to work behind the curtains to bring a new increase in the PS5 experience, and today we are excited to announce the two key addition to the players’ opinion – the return of the classic console design for audio foxes and PS5 UI.
The PS5 system update will begin globally in a phased approach to April 24.
The details of the new features are:
Audio focus increases immersion by providing LS sets to increase soft sounds to meet your hearing preferences, when using a headphone or headset ensures clear audio experience. This feature supports wider access to audio experiments.

When the audio focus setting is turned on, you can choose a range of preset options, which makes it easier to distinguish sounds like the role of the role in the game, precisely sound effects such as footsteps and stirring grass, as well as party chats in party chats.
To enable Audio Audio Focus, (Settings)> (Voice)> (Volume)> (Audio Focus). This feature can also be obtained from the Control Center, so you can easily adjust the settings during gameplay.
● You can choose from four preset focus type options for which sounds for better:
- Promote Low Pitch: Increase the sound of low frequency such as the noise of thunderstorms and rumors.
- Promote sounds: Increase voice chats, character sounds and other frequency sounds.
- Promote high pitch: Increase the sounds of high frequency such as footsteps and metal noise.
- Promote calm voice: Increase the sounds of low volume in a wide range of frequency.
● You can set the level of support for each preset type from three different levels (weak, medium, strong).
● Additionally, you can also choose to adjust the support level for the preset for the left / right channels to meet your specific preferences.
Audio focus feature is available when using a USB or analog jack through the analog jack. It is not auxiliary for HDMI contacts through TV, AV recipients or sound bar.

During our 30th birthday celebrations, we surprised our fans with a limited time selection of old memories for the PS5 system UI, which respected four PlayStation Consoles to pave the way for PS5: PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
Due to a tremendous positive response from our community, we are happy to bring back the shape of four console designs for players to customize the home screen on PS5!
This feature will be called the appearance, and it can be obtained under the menu of the settings.
