Pieces in the socket, there is nothing to look here. So, Esrok said in a blog post last week in which reports of 9000 chips were identified in its mother boards. But does it really fly in the context of getting 100 Raisen 7 9800x3D for CPU that he said he had died on the Associate Boards?
To be more specific, In a recent counting on Reddate989800x3ds are said to have expired the Asrock Mother Boards. But before we all jump on Asrock’s neck, it is not just a Mother Board vendor, mentioned by Reddators in CPU failures.
Through the same count, 16 9800x3ds have popped in the ASUS boards, five in the MSI socket and a single isolation CPU in the gigabyte item.
All these failures are allegedly of 9800x3ds that are booted on the board and are working for at least a period. Another Reddate Post that is aware of failures“So far there are 108 stories from people of 9800x3d that passed through the post, and were working for a short time before suddenly died, which did not have a sign of failure.”
If you were wondering if the failures were related to a particular chip set, it doesn’t look. About 45 45 % reports include the X870 chip set, about one -third for the B850, with a number of alleged casualties with B650 and X670.
Some of these reports are up to November. So this problem, whatever is, has been going on for a while. Asrock issued a BIOS update in February to solve the boot issues with the AMD Ryzen 9000-series and then with another similar delivery. At any point, Asrak has not even indicated that its mother boards may be responsible for the dead CPU and the company is not clearly clear that BIOS refreshments show the failure to boot the actual CPU’s failure.
It is difficult to say what it has to make. 9800x3d is a expensive CPU, but it is also a great hit movie. As we reported in November, it sold fast shortly after the launch, which caused the skypers to make $ 999 999 in the chip list. Do not let you forget, it is a chip that is aimed at listing in 9 479.
So, like the thousands, there are almost a lot of Almost of them. Of course, not every failure will be reported on Reddit.
As far as our experience is concerned, we have three 9800x3ds at home in the PC gamer. Our test rig 9800x3D based on Gigabytes Master Mobo is running and has been used for our GPU studies since the Intel B850 card in December, which has no problem.
Our other two are on MSI Mother Boards and so they are not worried. Now, then, it is difficult to say how wide the problem is or what is the reason. But now there are plenty of reports to say that perhaps there is a bit wider than usual and inevitable failures that you will see with any product.
Similarly, it is unlikely that all of this is caused by the socket scenario trapped by Isrok. As far as the distribution is a matter of a heavy tilt towards the Asrak, which can identify a particular problem with these boards. But it can also reflect the high popularity of the Asrock platform. Once again, the data is contradictory to now.
We will keep the weather monitor on progress and if anything else emerges to a great extent, we will report it.
