Blizzard has revealed a roadmap for Overwatch 2 Stadium a few weeks after the start of the new mode. Information about adding a hero to the stadium roster in the Roadmap, new maps and methods inside the stadium, and some of the players’ time statistics with mode.
As part of the current season’s mid cycin update, the latest damage hero Freuja will be added to the stadium limited roster, which is expected to launch May 20. Then there will be Season 17 in June, which will increase the roster of Sigma, Jinkart and Zenata. The stadium roster started with only 17 heroes, as new mode has items and options you can use to build in the mode. They need extra balance, so the blizzard is slowly adding the full overwatch roster in the mood. This update will include the ability to save and share customs bloods, as well as two more maps, asparanka and Samua. Season 17 will also include crossplays, which are not available in the mood as the console and PC players do not distribute competitive lobby.

The season began on August 18, along with Winston, Sujurin, and Brexit joining the roster, with a new game mode, with Payload Race. The Payload Race will come with two payload maps, Route 66 and London, though the snowstorm did not share any details about how the mood would be different from regular pay -load matches. Roadmap is stopped in Season 19, just saying that more maps and heroes will continue to be included in the mood along with new items.
Blizzard also said that the stadium is currently the most popular mood in Overwatch 2, “eclipse” Quick Play and Competitive, in two important ways. The mode watched the 2.3 million matches played in 7.8 million hours, which is more than double the Overwatch Classic Ary, when it launched, the last most famous new mode. Blizzard also shared that Lucio is the hero with the highest winning percentage and the lowest choice rate.
