Palorld launched almost for the first SMALL studio at an early access to the early access last year – there was no shortage of criticism. Communications director and publishing manager John Bakley believes that many studios may have been crushed at the weight of the launch, but they say that the work culture of Pokéth Pierce has kept the studio together.
“Pocket Perry is really a very very friendly place,” Bakley said in a recent panel at the game developers conference. “It has always been an amazingly friendly company. It’s just my opinion, you may not agree with it, but I think very few companies can escape the post -Palvard and post -situation.
Paulorld was a quick, massive hit, which sold 2 million copies in 24 hours and became the second game in steam history to reach two million compatible players. But the popularity of the game is complicated with clear Pokémon compares to make it a unique target of criticism and harassment from the world of gaming, not mentioning the allegations of using A infield art and the entire case from Nintendo.
Whatever you think of Paulland as a game, such pressure is certainly not suitable for a healthy work environment, and Bakley added some “stupid examples” list to keep the studio morale, from pizza and sushi parties to drinking. “Our CEOs always give us days to play big games,” a fact that made headlines around the beginning of Monster Hunter Wilds. “For some reason it is aware,” says Bakley. “I don’t think that’s it.” But when you are doing so successful on a game as it is successful as a polyns, it is difficult to make headlines.
Paulland is finally getting a crossplay in PC, Xbox and PS5 this month as the pocket takes away “some small surprises” to come to the game of survival.
