EA does not have the best reputation. Whether it is being awarded several times as the “worst company in the United States”, before its role in eliminating beloved developers like Biover, his love for the microtorism, or the passing of single player games permanently, he has not achieved much goodwill.
Joseph fares, founder of Hazelite Studios, whose team has yet released Split Fiction, which is the best partner game ever, does not share that emotions.
“No one believes in me,” they say more than zoom. And the reaction is understandable. Rent is a passionate, straightforward, clear -speaking developer who often criticizes the industry. But Hazelite has been working with the EA for years, as its games are published under the EA Origin label.
“For some reason, people like to hate EA, I don’t know why,” they say. “My relationship with them is very good. They are very helpful with us. So I’m not bad to say about them.”
As the fare sees it, problems with the industry do not go out of a single publisher, but a capitalist philosophy of permanent development.
“The problem with the whole capitalist idea is that you need to earn as much money as possible.” “It doesn’t mean, because at the end of the day, you will make stupid decisions. But I just hope, in the best worlds, that you take less of these stupid decisions and focus on what you really want, and they are games.
The problem with the whole capitalist idea is that you need to earn as much money as possible.

“Because when you have a great game – we are watching it with (splat fiction), a game is just zealous, a game where you don’t have to buy two copies literally, a game that has no micro -transaction, and you see success.
EA, for example, supported the fare plan to effectively remove the game with potential co -operative. This friend’s pass, which was included in it takes two and takes more in the spiral fiction, allows you to share the game with your friend, and let them play with you for free. This is also a cross platform.
The problems facing the industry are not as easy as they appear for outside viewers, renting fares. “I know a lot of developers, and I know there’s a lot of running behind the scenes that I think will be beneficial to know people.” They believe that more transparency will help people better understand what is happening in reality.
He has taken a special approach with Hebs lights, keeping it small with a flat structure, he believes he has contributed to successes such as spiral fiction.
“I say all the time, ‘Fuck without fuck’, and these are not just things I say to be ridiculous. What I am trying to say is that there is no limit to creativity here. Everything in the studio is fine, and it’s just about me and the team, which means that we only talk about it.
Significantly, they say that EA does not interfere, which allows Hese Lite to experience and create games that introduce new mechanics and concepts with each chapter, like a spiral fiction: “The creative process is very fluid.”
“Every publisher now runs away and then,” he says. And it can be argued that with a company of EA -shaped, and with the number of studios, those mistakes are going to be high and high profile. Equally, though, someone can argue that the EA strongly believes in something we see as mistakes, such as its enmity about single player sports.
However, there is a tendency to focus only on bad. In this example, with the distribution fiction, the EA clearly made the right calls, did not interfere with the Haza light plans, and took the risk from a friend. It is sometimes okay.
