Dan Trechtonberg says the key relationship in the Predator: Behlands was influenced by the 2005 PS2 Game Shadow of Collasus.

The Shadow of Colasses follows the 2005 PS5 Action Adventure Wonder, a young man who travels with the body of a girl named Mono on the way to the horses, whose mission is to destroy Coali and resurrect Mono. This game is widely regarded as one of the most influential video games ever.
