Raidou is the type of game I miss the most

Recently, I am feeling that video games have more work on combat mechanics. They should be complicated, permanently demanding, the frame perfect, and many options. There have been numerous trends that almost everybody follows, such as the paraning, epic boss fight and cinema approach.

Raidou is the type of game I miss the most

There’s something about it Raidou It feels refreshing for me. And this is not the only game that comes out of these trends (which makes sense, since it is actually revealed on PS2). In this game, the fighter, while repeatedly, is quite easy and never tries to steal the spotlight. Yes, there are dodge, perry and terrible enemies – but none of them need to develop. You will read people by saying that being able to defeat any enemy by merely mesh the button is a flaw in the game, proof that its game is played. But this simplicity allows you to focus on other things, while in every year’s “Sewero”, you are using five senses to avoid just dying.

When you enter the fight, you know when it is about to end – the battles are short and generally easy. You know you always see something new, whether it’s a new devil, a new magic, or the opportunity to ask for a creature you have not used before and have not deepened your bond with it. Nothing like, but finally, you just didn’t come here to fight – you are also a spy, and expose the horrors of the underworld (a special thing in the Atlas Games anyway).

The style of these games is always a spectacle, and this is not new. The fact is that this game has been arranged in the Tausu era (a short period between the Idealistic Miji era and the WWII military Japan) is already notable – hundreds of games are established in Japan, but during the Samara era or in the modern era. Music and presentation, of course, supports this web. The remake is lazy. I like it like this. It gives it a special touch, highlights the artistic style, and creates even more alien environment that the original artists have already achieved.

I will only highlight this game IsBut what’s it too Is not. There are thousands of collective, finding no recovery, no micro transactions, no Gache Mechanics … You know what I mean.

What else can I say? The game is not perfect, not, but it has a special thing that makes me difficult to get into many modern sports. Of course. Are exceptionsRon Factory: Ajoma’s guardian Shares some of the traits. This is a game today, but it has the principle of design 20 years ago.

I really enjoy more “modern” sports – I’m waiting eagerly Death Standing 2• But maybe I’m getting old right now, and sometimes I feel like things were used, when they were easy, and may be more straightforward.
