Hollow Night: Silksong has burned me before. The game has been promised ‘coming soon’ since 2019, but here we are in 2025, and there has been no official news about the release from Team Cherry that Nintendo Switch 2 blows a blink and you remember.
I know how it looks like, I know that we have all been fooled by the years of the release promise for more than half a decade, I know that I have become Charlie Brown that team cherry is not pulling football out in front of me, but 2025 years.
You laugh at the reddate, without hesitation, saying that on the New Year’s Eve, ‘I told you’ when the game didn’t start, but I feel it in the air. This is the end time.
Before we have been on this traumatic path
I try not to stock up more stock when the games are coming out, so how common it is for them to be delayed, canceled, or completely missing without a word. Also, it is understood that the publishers are not interested in announcing release dates unless the development team is convinced that it can affect it.
Holo Knight: Silicong has never made a promise to a particular release date, but has been associated with two years before 2025. The game was briefly mentioned in an Xbox showcase in 2022, where it was announced that everything that was shown during the showcase would launch the game within a year, so the fans expected that silicong either launched either in 2022 or 2023.
Now that we have put another look at the game during the Nintendo Direct earlier this month (despite another short look) and a release from 2025 as a release year, I have seen many fans saying that this time Team is having a difficult time to believe in cherry. Although I usually happen to these people, I hope for 2025 unconditionally.
If not now, then when?
The game has been developing for at least six years, and although it is clear that the game has increased over time according to Cherry, we have entered where it is completely reliable to start the game for how long it has been in progress. Yes, there are many stories about sports that are trapped in the hell of development, but directly gaining a refreshing – which is a very important direct to the industry as a whole – a sign that silicong will really have to develop.
We have come to know the bat that updates for silicong will occasionally happen, but with every piece of bread of information, we get closer to the actual launch of the game. I know that nothing else is to be far from anything other than a feeling, but if the team is making a pledge of another year in a showcase, they knew that the gaming presentation of the last five years would be one of the most seen presentations, I have no choice but to believe them.
I know I see that the football team is catching cherries while everyone sees my stupid head, but if not now? I’m going to kick the ball of this kick and I’m going to play the Holoc night: Silksong, I promise.
